I wore my camera as an accessory when I walked for @relativeartsnyc in @indigenousnyfw 2026 so I got to take some BTS photographs. After going from INYFW to being in a play, I finally caught up and sharing the first round photographs I took!

Also, I’ll be sure to post ME soon too since I’m so bad at doing that 😆 but thank you to everyone who supported me and messaged me about modeling for INYFW!! An honor!

We are officially here for Indigenous New York Fashion Week 2026 in New York City! 🗽

From getting ready this morning, walking through the streets of NYC, to coming together with models who have travelled from different places and communities, today is when this experience really started to feel real.

I’m grateful to be here representing where I come from, carrying my own story from Saskatchewan into an entirely new space, and meeting so many talented Indigenous people along the way.

Today is about fittings, rehearsals, meeting the designers, connecting with the other models and preparing for the runway.

At 44 years old, this experience continues to remind me:

Opportunities don’t have an age limit. Sometimes you just have to put your name forward and see where it takes you.
