Continuing our Recruitment Spotlights, we have Caden Gabbard. Here’s what he has to say about his experience in Greek Life:

“Greek Life has been everything to me since I got on campus 2 years ago. I came in knowing I wanted to rush and knowing where I wanted to rush as well. Phi Delt was always where I was going to end up; the brothers welcomed me with open arms during my high school senior summer, and I already felt like a lot of the guy’s friend.

Since making the decision to join PDT, I’ve never regretted it for a second. I’ve met people that will be friends for life, and I’ve grown as a man and leader while doing so. And to be honest, that’s the most important part of Greek Life. You can have fun with any friend group, but those groups don’t hold you accountable and push you socially, academically, and professionally the way that a fraternity will.

With that said, my piece of advice would be to put yourself out there. Whether that be making the leap to try out rush when you aren’t fully comfortable doing so, or if that means pushing hard to make a difference and holding a position in the fraternity you rush. Putting yourself out there will only benefit you. Please try it out, and RUSH PHI DELT! ⚔️⚔️”

2026 AFLV was an incredible experience! ✨
I had the opportunity to connect with amazing people, earn second place in this years showcase, and attend sessions that helped me develop skills to better myself and strengthen my chapter. I am grateful for the opportunity!!🤍

KLEBERG 2025 ⚔️

This past weekend, five of our brothers had the opportunity to attend the Kleberg Emerging Leaders Institute! Kleberg is an annual leadership conference for Phi Delta Theta, held at Miami University, attended by brothers from every chapter in the nation.

Our guys got the opportunity to meet Phis from other chapters, attend sessions to build their leadership skills, listen to several speakers, and gain ideas to bring back to KY Iota.

Great work gentlemen, we’re excited to see you all implement what you’ve learned over this semester!
