WHO STOLE THE FUNK: MEDITERRANEAN EDITION 1/8/26

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

well-well-well 👀

traveling is certainly fun, but I think it's finally the time to pay tribute to our sweet home harbour - utrecht❤️

I'll be honest, this is just a tiiiiiny fragment of all the cool places that Utrecht has, but there's just so many nice gems where you can get cozy with a cup of coffee, your fall read and for at least an hour disappear from the outside world

if it gets enough reactions, I'll make part 2!!!

in the mean time, let me know if you've been to any of the place and what did you think?

and if not, which one are you visiting first? ;)

📍@thevillagecoffee - the village coffee & music

a slightly unexpected one to open with, since it has nothing to do with books, but I just couldn't leave it off. it is the complete opposite of what a "cute, cozy cafe" perfect for fall book reading looks like, but it's one of my favourite places in Utrecht because of how informal, bold and cool it is!

if loud noises don't distract you, then definitely give it a shot for your reading escape - or simply stop by for fresh coffee and a pastry🖤☕️

📍@koffieleute - coffee leute brauhaus

MY GOD I have no idea HOW I missed this place after being in the city for 5 years, but now this is in the TOP of my Utrecht places. If The Next Chapter had an office, it'd be this: colorful, vibrant, lively and strong creative fleur hanging in the air

it gets crowded quite fast, but if you come early, you can easily spend your whole day working, reading, playing games or browsing through some nice vinyls, since they also offer breakfast/lunch food

must visit for sure

📍@blushnbound - blush&bound

I've been eyeing this place ever since the first day of the renovations, and now that they are finally opened, it'll surely be one of my spots to go to!

even though I'm not a romance fan, it's the PERFECT spot for bookisg girlies: shelves full of reads, smell of coffee around you and the rustig-ness that you need to have the best book immersive experience✨

it's also a woman-owned business and the girls there are super sweet and nice, so if you feel like chatting, surely go ahead ;)

Volgende edities komen snel!!

Iedereen bedankt voor het komen🩵

Tomorrow we’re bringing our Gangsta Jazz to Who Stole The Funk Festival organized by @cafcaclub in Utrecht’s beautiful Griftpark!

We’ll hit the stage at 18u with a set full of swing, grooves, New Orleans vibes, Balkan energy, ska, and a few unexpected twists.

For our friends from the swing dance community, we’ll make sure to kick things off with plenty of dance-friendly tunes before diving into the wilder side of our repertoire.

Come dance, hang out, and enjoy a great evening of live music. See you tomorrow!
