A little piece of Lisbon in Little Italy

Café Belém on 📍College St serves pastéis de nata warm from the oven — flaky, caramelized, gone in two bites.

Blue doors, hand-painted azulejo tiles, and a clock made of custard tarts… the details here are unreal. Swipe for the full tour 👉 Save this for your next Toronto café crawl ☕ Which would you pick — the pastel de nata or the cinnamon roll?

I’m in Toronto! Top of list, I had to see my brilliant friend and international best selling author Natalie Jenner (The Jane Austen Society), with whom Lucky immediately fell in love. ❤️ I also visited Yayoi Kusama’s stunning immersive installation, Infinity Mirrored Room - Let’s Survive Forever, at the Art Gallery of Ontario. There was barely a line, which is hard to believe. Run don’t walk there! ❤️ Plus, after a weekend of tummy troubles, I’m over the moon to eat again, and what a great food town. Two highlights so far: Nadege for French pastries and Cafe Belem for Portuguese specialties. Lucky gives extra paws up for the pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts).
