THREE WEEKS! Looking forward to bringing Last Words at Death Party to Café Blah on Saturday 14 November. This one-off night is a specially curated line-up of experimental spoken word and broken sound. Think of Last Words as the tasty filling in the Death Party weekend sandwich – egg & cress, fish paste & cucumber, wafer-thin ham & mustard. Sides include silverskin onions and Salt’n’Shake crisps. Cherry Bakewell for afters. Super Size that Unhappy Meal ™️ To see more doggoes wearing hats, or indeed to see the full line-up, head to the Eventbrite 🔗 in bio. #deathparty #liveliterature #spokenword #soundart #experimentalevent

Thanks to all who came out last night for Penda’s Fen. Attached are two topics discussed in the bar later- the Palestine protest tomorrow in Manchester and the planned Data Centre in Reddish which hardly anyone has heard about. Loving cinema and taking action go together! The data centre flyer has the web address cut off! It’s houseofthepeople.uk

BACK SO SOON?

Thanks everyone that came out last Friday @fuelcafebar for the extravaganza that was @deleter_deleter_ @workintvband Kade Hates Me and @pulsethebandd . We had a blast and I hope you did too 🐄

Boy oh boy what do we have next I hear you scream??

@dennisbeachmp - Manchester-based 5-piece, none of whom are called Dennis, serving up groove-based post-punk out of the takeaway hatch of their collective minds.

Apologies for having called you all Dennis already. They’ll make you smile from ear to ear and boogie woogie from cheek to cheek.

@leons_comet - 3 piece also from Manchester. A gentler variety of sounds with lead vocals that will make you cry and potentially ascend to wherever it is you’d prefer to go.

Kade Hates Me - like a bad smell you’re proud of we’re back again baby to stink out the dungeons of blah. They say there might be new music on the way?

It’s Free entry but we will be taking contributions for the bands on a pay as you feel vibe on the door.

CANT WAIT TO SEE YOU ALL @cafeblah
