Happy global running day!

Undecided if running itself is my friend or not but hey I’ve met some pretty cool people along the way!

TRACK IS BACK🤩
•
Great to open the track season with my fastest season opener over 5000 with a 15:48! Not sure where that run came from 🤷🏻 Buzzing to come away with the B win, even better Mark getting the outright win and double victory!

And with that the 2025 season has come to an end!

Injuries, PBs, perspective.

Less running than planned due to injury and a tougher come back than expected but plenty to be grateful for.

Friends, family, pbs official and unofficial across all distances, and a perfect km-to-pint ratio 🍻

Here’s to 2026 and fewer injuries, more start lines.

Mark Bolland-Cage | Bronze - British Masters 5km 🥉

Last weekend, Mark Bolland-Cage, one of the most valued members of the FLYCARB family and a true OG, delivered a superb performance in Battersea Park 💨

Racing for the Northern Masters in the British Masters 5km Championships, Mark came away with a brilliant bronze medal in the M35 age category 🥉

It was an incredibly tight finish, with Mark just one second ahead of fourth place. Sport often comes down to fine margins, and this time Mark was on the right side of them! What a run 👏

Mark has had an incredible year, breaking 15:30 for 5km, 9:00 for 3km and 4:10 for 1500m, all fuelled by FLYCARB 🥣

A huge well done from FLYCARB. Enjoy your cheeky voucher! 😍

So 4 weeks ago I text my bestie @cageyboy saying ‘I may have just done something very stupid’ that stupid thing was entering a 10K with only 4 weeks to get some sort of training done! Well.. Mark clearly did his job, he has helped me by sending me sessions and by keeping me company today during the race. I originally said I’d be happy with under an hour. Then a couple weeks back I said ok maybe 55-56mins. Chip time confirmed - 51:38!! Overjoyed is an understatement 😁 Thanks for being the best support Mark, also not forgetting @simon.bollandcage too for helping me choose the right trainers and cheering me out and in along with @eddhirst1 & Oscar. Dare I say, but I quite enjoyed it 🫶🏼 #wetherby10k #acrackingyorkshirerun #coyac #10k #runner #samebutdifferent #happy #challengeyourself
