Still trying to find the words because I’m truly in awe. I can’t believe I’ve been given the opportunity to serve as Programming Coordinator for New Maroon Camp! Since I was just a camper, NMC has given me so many memories, friendships, and moments of growth! I genuinely cannot wait for this year and for all the amazing things to come!!💌

As I try to put into words how much New Maroon Camp truly means to me, one words continues to come to the forefront of my mind: thankful. Often times, college students struggle to find their place and sense of belonging, but New Maroon Camp has continuously reminded me that I am exactly where I belong. I cannot begin to express my thankfulness for this organization and the family it has provided me. I am extremely blessed to be the new Assistant Director of Communications, and I cannot wait for this year with the best team! NMC 27, you are already so loved! ❤️

Year 2 in the books, and with a Cadets win! 💚 I’m so thankful for another week filled with memories, laughter, and growth! NMC will always hold a special place in my heart and will consistently be my reminder of why I chose MSU! 🐾

I had no idea what was in store for me when I ran through the doors of the Sanderson on the first night of camp three years ago. These last few years have been one of the biggest blessings of my college experience, and I’ll forever be indebted to the 2025 exec for giving me the chance to join staff.

Getting to show campers the Mississippi State that I fell in love with, alongside some of the best people I’ve ever met, is something I’ll always be grateful for. I couldn’t have asked for better people to serve on Camp ’26 with.

The end of camp marks the beginning of so many lasts this year. And while I’m definitely not ready to officially call myself an MSU alum in a year, I am ready to spend every one of these lasts with the people Mississippi State brought into my life.

As the shirt says, loyal friends we’ll always be.
