Memories of Cold Storage in the Smithsonian’s Human Studies Film Archive

I just submitted a big proposal for a grant on a project I’ve been working on and off for many years. #iykyk 😉

To celebrate, here’s a little-seen behind the scenes image from December 2015.

THE TALE OF THE DAUGHTER will premiere this FRIDAY! It’s part of the wonderful line-up of Flicker's 25th Annual Rhode Island International Film Festival (@flickers.riiff ), virtually, starting on Friday, August 13th.

And it will also be screening in person at BendFilm (@bendfilmfestival ) in Oregon on October 7-10th.

A million thanks to directors Savannah + Taylor and producers Jazzy + Chris for bringing me onboard and into the wonderful film family that is Moonshine Pictures. And to the crew and vendors who made it happen, and welcomed me with open arms to my first Californian gig! This is one of my favorite projects to date, and I cannot wait for the next one with everyone! ❤️

Absolutely one of the highlights of scoring music for a film like Ask For Jane was seeing the power of a brilliant ensemble cast onscreen as well as the talent behind the camera. 😍

Sparked by this experience, Rose and Janice form the Jane Collective: a secret organization to help other women obtain safe and illegal abortions. Can’t wait to see Alison Wright in the new Snowpiercer series this spring! She was so brilliant to write music for as Rose’s judgemental (but genuinely concerned) mother in #AskForJane.
