October started out with a bang for me!

On Oct 1 & 2 I was honoured to get to be back as the host for the 2nd Annual Girls Summit put on by the @saskridersfdn.

The full day summits held in Saskatoon and Regina focused on physical and mental wellness. The grade 7 & 8 girls who participated went through various different work stations focused on football and strength and conditioning. They also heard a presentation put on by @jorgenhus46 in Saskatoon & @semilus19 in Regina on mental wellness. The girls also got to hear from a number of prominent women working in the sports world.
Such a fun, inspiring and motivating couple of days!!!

Love on the Lake 🌊🛟🍹🤍👰🏻‍♀️

Last weekend, my besties came together to give me the best, most perfect bachelorette weekend a girl could ask for 🥹💍

A cottage on the lake, a long weekend with no responsibilities, good friends, great food and treats, and laughing until everything hurts ❤️ add in my besties and bridesmaids from Scotland and Ontario who flew in just for this?! I feel so incredibly loved, grateful, happy and like the luckiest girl in the world 🥹☀️

Thank you to this incredible group of best friends from Regina, Vibank, Peterborough, Edinburgh, and here at home for spending your long weekend with me and for making the journey with groceries and cocktails for all 🍸 to my pals who couldn’t be there but made sure I felt the love from afar🎁, to my maid of honour for spending months planning and organizing a Saskatchewan bachelorette from Scotland😭🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, and to the community of Struthers Lake, some of whom may have been kept awake with our ceaseless giggling and 2010s clubbing music 🙏😂

I’ll remember this weekend for the rest of my days ❤️✨

After almost five years, my time on the Board of Directors with Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon Branch has come to an end.

Since September 2021, I have had the privilege of serving alongside an incredible group of volunteers, staff, and community leaders who are deeply committed to improving mental health supports and reducing stigma in our community. I was also honoured to serve as Chair of the Communications Committee, helping share stories, raise awareness, and advocate for “Mental Health For All” - our mission and something I so deeply believe in.

This organization has always held a special place in my heart.

Like many people, my relationship with mental health is not just professional or volunteer-based. It is personal. Throughout my life and career, I’ve experienced my own challenges with mental health, and I’ve spoken publicly about that journey because I believe conversations create connection, and connection generates change.

Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to witness firsthand the impact that Canadian Mental Health Association Saskatoon Branch has on individuals, families, and our community. The work happening every day is meaningful, compassionate, and often life-changing 🥹I will keep some of those first-hand impact stories close to my heart forever.

While my board term may be ending, my belief in this organization’s mission remains as strong as ever. I will continue to cheer on the team, support mental health advocacy, and encourage open conversations about mental wellness whenever I can 🙌🏻🧠

Thank you to everyone I have had the pleasure of serving with over the years. The friendships, lessons, and experiences will stay with me long after this chapter closes ❤️🥹

Here’s to the next chapter, and to continuing the conversation.

Happy Pride Month! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍

This is a time to celebrate love, diversity, and the beautiful spectrum of who we are as humans.

Pride is about standing tall in our truths, honouring those who fought for our rights, and dreaming big for a future where everyone belongs, and no one has to question their belonging.

Whether you’re marching, sharing your story, or just living authentically, I’m so proud to be an ally of this community. Let’s shine bright together! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨💖

There is so much power in being in a room where people are willing to have honest conversations.

I had the honour of sitting on a panel at The Gathering on February 27, speaking about how news media shapes who is believed, who is blamed, and how we respond to sexual violence.

These aren’t easy conversations. But they are necessary ones.

The Gathering creates space for connection, reflection, and healing through art and community. It’s a reminder that survivors are more than what happened to them. More than a headline. More than a statistic.

Grateful to be part of a night that centred empathy, creativity, and truth.

Thank you to The You Are More Project for creating something so meaningful.

There is nothing quite like watching confidence grow in real time 🎤✨

Over the past few weeks, @bradbestradio and I had the absolute honour of designing and delivering a customized media training program for the Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission Board of Directors, and what a rewarding experience it was.

We were first invited to submit a proposal for this work, and to have our vision selected as the winning bid was incredibly meaningful.

From there, we built a personalized training experience designed specifically for today’s media landscape and the unique realities of agricultural advocacy.

The program began with an intensive classroom session focused on what I like to call “How to Be On Air 101”, breaking down how modern newsrooms work, the daily pressures journalists face, how stories are shaped, and why media truly is a two-way relationship that can create real value for organizations when approached strategically.

From there, we moved into two rounds of hands-on learning with working journalists in the field, giving board members the opportunity to apply the tools in real time.

Watching participants take concepts like pivoting, bridging, and soundbite development from the classroom and immediately use them under pressure was such a highlight of the day. I was, and AM, so proud! 🥹

What stood out most was seeing confidence build with every round. Even when reporters pushed hard, board members stayed grounded, protected their key messaging, and communicated with clarity and authority.

That’s the magic of good media training. It’s not about sounding rehearsed. It’s about helping leaders show up as authentic, prepared, and confident voices for their organization.

A huge thank you to Sask Wheat for trusting us with this work. We left the day energized, inspired, and excited about what’s possible when organizations invest in communication leadership.

We can’t wait to do it again!

If your board, leadership team, or organization wants to strengthen its on-air confidence, sharpen messaging, and better understand today’s media environment, let’s connect. I would love to help build a customized training experience for your team.
