@soma__ldn Soho + Canary Wharf.

Across both locations, @cake.architecture has created a restrained, low-lit interior language built around dark finishes and reflective surfaces.

The quality of the drinks is equal to the atmosphere of the spaces. Minimal in presentation and precise in detail, they feel less like a separate element and more like an extension of the interiors themselves.

MARYANNE: A SOCIAL SYNTHESISER

CAKE expanded their work with us this year, taking on Southwark Park’s bandstand.

Named in tribute to pioneering composer Maryanne Amacher, the installation reimagines the Victorian bandstand as a place for rest, encounter and collective occupation. Oversized illuminated forms and foam-clad platforms for sitting, reclining and gathering - soft surfaces and diffuse light set against the bandstand’s ornate ironwork.

Drawing on the physical language of early electronic music - its analogue machines, cables and raw materiality - the installation became a social synthesiser.

Visionaire in 2023, Agnes in 2024 and now MARYANNE from our longtime collaborators at CAKE.

On the corner of the green, a new House settles into its leafy surroundings.⁠

Shaped alongside @cake.architecture, the space is a direct reflection of the green it sits across from.⁠
⁠
Within the House, natural light filters softly across a restrained palette of greens, whites, and walnut. Textured plaster, fluted glass, and feature tiles, and a calm that carries in from the neighbourhood beyond.⁠

WatchHouse Millennium Bridge is a showcase of the skill and craftsmanship of our dedicated wood and metal teams, from the striking stainless steel bar to the bespoke curved banquette seating. Every element was carefully crafted to bring the design to life.
