Not every athlete should train the same way.

And a 9-year-old shouldn’t be trained like a 17-year-old.

That’s why the XLR8 Ultimate Athlete Academy is being built around a true development pathway.

10U — Foundations
Movement. Coordination. Speed. Athletic confidence.

11–14 — Build the Athlete
Speed. Strength. Skill. Performance habits. Learning how to train.

15+ — High Performance
More individualization. More testing. More specialization. Higher expectations.

The training changes because the athlete changes.

But every level is connected to the same larger system:

⚡ Speed + movement
🏋️ Strength + power
📊 Performance testing
🏆 Sport-specific coaching
💪 Recovery
🥗 Nutrition
📈 Athlete profiling + long-term development

The goal is not simply to make an athlete better next month.

It is to help build the athlete they can become over the next several years.

XLR8 Ultimate Athlete Academy

Selective groups.
High-level coaching.
High standards.
A real development pathway.

What if athlete development wasn’t a collection of random workouts?

That is what we are building with the XLR8 Ultimate Athlete Academy.

The Academy is designed around one connected development system:
⚡ Speed + movement
🏋️ Strength + power
📊 Performance testing
🏆 Sport-specific coaching
💪 Recovery
🥗 Nutrition + fueling
📈 Athlete profiling + long-term tracking

And it changes as the athlete develops.

Younger athletes begin by building the foundations: movement, coordination, speed, strength and athletic confidence.

As athletes progress, training becomes increasingly individualized, data-driven and sport-specific.

The goal isn’t simply to make someone better this season.

The goal is to build the athlete they can become over the next several years.

That is the difference between having access to a gym…
…and being part of a development system.

The XLR8 Ultimate Athlete Academy is coming.

Small groups.

Elite coaching.

High standards.

Long-term development.

A couple of weeks ago, we got to help capture @calebtenpas5 taking a shot at breaking the 4-minute mile on his home track at @desmoineschristianschools

Caleb came up just a few seconds short, but the energy and community support in the stands was unbelievable.

Caleb will continue his track and field career at the University of Oregon 🦆 Congrats on an incredible high school career!

Something much bigger is coming to XLR8.

We’re building the XLR8 High Performance Campus — a 10,000 sq. ft. performance environment designed to bring athletes, coaches, teams and training communities together under one roof.

This is going far beyond what XLR8 has been before.

🏃 Speed + athletic development
🏋️ Strength & power
🏀 Basketball training
⚽ Turf training + team practices (baseball/softball cages too!)
📊 Performance testing + technology
🎮 Interactive / gamified training
💪 Recovery
🏆 Development Academies
🏢 Team, coach + training space rentals
…and we’re just getting started.

But as we build it, we want to hear from the people who could actually use it.

Are you a coach who needs training space?
A club or team looking for a home?
An athlete who wants access to this environment?
A trainer interested in bringing clients here?
A business interested in partnering with XLR8?

DM us the word “CAMPUS.”

Tell us who you are and how you’d want to use the space. We’re beginning to build our opening schedule and partnerships now.

And if you want to be part of XLR8 from the very beginning, our First 100 Founding Memberships are now being reserved. Click the link in our bio to get your spot before they are gone.

This isn’t simply a bigger Performance Lab.

We’re building an entire performance ecosystem.

Family Day @iowastatefair 🌽🎡🍗
I asked William if he liked the Iowa State Fair and he looked at me dead serious and said “Heather, I absolutely love it.” I am doing something right as a mom 😉😂
