Friday was the premiere of ‘I’ve never seen an eel in my life’ by myself and @contrariella for @niamhkearneymezzo and @sochitoppot. Couldn’t be happier or prouder of our team!

Was also so nice to see new pieces by the other composers, writers, and performers! Well done all around!

Dropping this proper hodgepodge of moments from the past however many months at the Guildhall.

There’s been some voice cracks, some missed cues etc but most of all have just been adjusting to the sheer volume of good teaching and good people here. Truly so much to get out of studying here.

As you scroll, enjoy some rabies-chic dragons, earnest learning faces with credits to Roderick Williams, cunning little composers and librettists (8th of May Milton Court- be there), cabaret hands, attempts at edgy programming, Magda (we miss you dearly), processing noises, pensive Passion performers, a married couple on the edge of destruction 😘, historically informed poses, my man Poulenc, and bows.

Love to everyone I’ve worked with these past few months. Here’s to more music making for the sake of it.
