The building of one of my fav routines to date! 🙌🏽 Smooth Criminal was an absolute crowd pleaser in my Iconic show!

The ‘OG’ routine has become a tradition to surprise the Centre Stage girls with at our Dress Rehearsal! The 4 of us, @calliecoach @tuisheed @nicole.allicia13 have been together since the very first Centre Stage and each show we co-create a routine that challenges us and brings both another layer of skill and variety to the show.

Sometimes we fit this routine in about 3hrs tops of rehearsals. We know each other really well and know how to work with each other’s strengths and time frames. Plus we just all get so jazzed to dance together so we absolutely come ALIVE when we are together!!

I highly recommend sharing a creative space with like minded humans doing something you love… it feeds your soul in ways you cannot get anywhere else!

Added bonus? We have been booked to perform this routine at an event coming up on the GC before Xmas!

Talk about living my childhood dreams…

Costumes were a hit and lighting was on point for this number!

Until next time Smooth Criminals…

Keep Dancing! 💃🏽

PART 2 ~ THE FREEDOM OF CONNECTION

There’s a certain kind of magic that only happens when women come together..

The unfiltered laughter, the lingering embraces, the cheekiness, the tenderness, the beautiful exchange of energy between women who genuinely adore and admire one another. There’s something deeply nourishing about sisterhood.

The freedom of CONNECTION, to soften, to be seen, to celebrate another woman’s brilliance as though it were your own.

And somewhere between rehearsals, the dance floors, the shared stories and the spontaneous moments of joy, something beautiful blossoms.

Friendships, Belonging, Community, CONNECTION.

A beautiful reminder that some of life’s richest experiences aren’t found in what we do, but in the people we get to share them with.

To love, to be loved, and to feel the magic of it all.

Ohhh, what a priviledge it is my beautiful people, that I get to do life alongside these amazing women ♾️❤️

💃🏽✨ ICONIC ✨💃🏽

Snippets of the magic that was the 4th show from my Centre Stage girls and I… and one thing is for sure, the ENERGY was off the charts! Both on and off the stage. I left the sound on so that you can can hear the crowd in these videos 🙌🏽

The women who poured themselves into this journey with me are all powerhouses! Glorious Goddesses… just like you and me. We all are! We just have to choose to believe it and that we are worthy of taking up space, on a stage, or wherever!

Claiming it. Owning and Loving all the parts that make us ‘us’, and not holding back on sharing our essence with the world.

The women who have done Centre Stage are now more certain than ever of who they are, and they will tell you there’s always more FUN and FREEDOM available for you when you choose to prioritise your playtime and pleasure.

When you are iconically ‘you’, you attract your tribe. From there, you quite literally are untouchable. 💋this is ICONIC!💋

PART 1 ~ THE FREEDOM TO PLAY

Ohhh the delicious freedom of simply allowing ourselves to PLAY!

To move, to feel, to laugh loudly, to be cheeky, sensual, a little wild and unapologetically ALIVE in our bodies.

There is something so beautifully liberating about surrendering to the rhythm, letting the outside world fall away and allowing joy to move freely through every part of your being.

The laughter, the movement, the feminine energy, the beautiful frequency of women coming together, celebrating themselves and each other. Ahhh, I LOVE it all!

This is what @dance_with_brie, @calliecoach and Centre Stage bring into my world. A space to honour myself, express every flavour of my feminity, and share the most delicious moments of connection, community, pleasure, and pure JOY with my dancing sisters.

Because even amongst the ebbs and flows of life, there is always room to soften, to surrender, to feel, to express and to PLAY.

May you never outgrow the freedom to PLAY, my beautiful people x

This time last night, we were on stage living our best lives. ✨

The joy of dancing and performing, combined with the sisterhood within this group, is something pretty special. There’s nowhere else quite like it, and no feeling quite like this.

Thank you, @dance_with_brie and @calliecoach , for another amazing show and experience, and for creating a space where we can come together, be ourselves and do something we love. 🤍

And thank you to our amazing audience. It wouldn’t be a show without your support!

Would you be brave enough to get up on a stage like this, knowing all eyes are on you? ✨

With our dance concert coming up this Friday, I’ve been thinking about the confidence it takes to put yourself out there. To be seen. To do something you love, even when you feel nervous.

Dancing brings me so much joy. The music, the movement, the women I dance with, and that feeling of doing something just because it makes me feel good.

Every time I show up, learn something new and step onto that stage, I build a little more trust in myself.

Sometimes confidence grows through doing the thing you’ve been nervous to do. Giving yourself permission to take up space, be seen and enjoy every moment.

This Friday, we’re bringing all that joy to the stage, and I’d love you to come along! 💃

Buy a ticket, bring a friend and make a night of it - I’d love to see you in the audience 🤍

✨ WEEK 3 REHEARSALS ✨

Things are getting technical in rehearsals now - I have most certainly upped the ante in this round and I am challenging the girls’ brains constantly!

The faces are serious but there’s still a lot of laughs as we feel our way through the sticky bits. Every performance has a messy middle before the polished final product and we are all actually loving putting in the work it takes to create a unique co-collaboration such as Centre Stage!

Come and see our show ‘ICONIC’ on Fri Oct 16th and be inspired bring back more of what you used to love and what lights you up! It might not be dancing, but whatever it is, you’re not ‘too old’!

You’re Iconic!
