Today I networked with my ladies group, hosted by the brilliant @mattishallgolfclub

I know I say this every time but I love it. Being in a room with other brilliant business women, all passionate about what they do. There to help, support and uplift every other person in the room. For some it’s a chance to get out of the office and for others an opportunity to see real life people away from the computer or phone.

Do you network?

The Ladies That Network met today at @mattishallgolfclub. We had a brilliant talk from Sally of @sl.harmdistractionkits, sparking lots of conversation round the room.

Another inspiring meeting with regulars and newbies, all making connections. It’s what good networking is all about. Not sales pitches but genuine conversations.

One of my favourite things about running a small business is finding so many other incredible ones along the way. 🥰💚
Whether it’s your favourite Etsy shop 🛍, local café ☕, florist 💐, or maker 🎨, I’d love for us to fill the comments with amazing small businesses for everyone to discover. 🫶 Let’s spread an extra little kindness and support today. ✨💕

Another fun morning spent with local women in business. Supporting and building each other up.

A great talk from Lucy @yogawithlucya. We all had the opportunity to select a tarot card and share with the room which triggered many conversations. I got The Magician 🪄

Thanks as always to @mattishallgolfclub for being fabulous hosts.

Yesterday my Ladies That Network group got together for another session hosted at fabulous @mattishallgolfclub

18 brilliant local businesswomen gathered for chats and connections. Clair from @sterling_virtual_assistant was our fantastic guest speaker. A thought provoking talk on recognising when it’s time to hand work over in business.

I always leave these sessions buzzing from the positivity and support in the room. Fancy joining us? DM me for details x

This afternoon, we welcomed lovely Angela from Calligrabloom into The Craftery to teach her Beginners Brush Pen Calligraphy Workshop! ✨🖋️

Angela created a beautiful pack for each lady to work through during the class, along with a lovely brush pen for everyone to take home afterwards so they could continue practising their new skills at home too 🥰

The workshop was full of creativity, concentration, laughter and those lovely calm moments where everyone got completely lost in what they were creating 💛 It was so lovely seeing everyone grow in confidence throughout the session and watching their lettering improve more and more as the afternoon went on!

A huge thank you to Angela for such a warm, welcoming and inspiring workshop ✨

We know there was LOTS of interest in this class 👀 Who is hoping to grab a space on the next one?! 🖋️💛

Hope you are all having a great weekend.

We celebrated our 16th wedding anniversary yesterday and Sue's birthday 🎂

We have some really great workshops lined up for June and most of them only have a couple of places left.

Terrarium making with @leslieterranceshop is always a popular workshop.

We are delighted to welcome Angela @calligrabloom for her first workshop here. Brush pen calligraphy in the morning and a folk art workshop in the afternoon with a discount if you fancy booking both workshops to make a day of it.

Not forgetting our regular alpaca yoga with @bearsoulwellbeing which is such a beautiful way to unwind and start your weekend.

Please do dm if you want to join us for any of these and we look forward to welcoming you.

Don't forget you can hire our beautiful space for your own workshop or party too.
