Absolutely brilliant day yesterday filming for my new speaker showreel and having my photoshoot. These are inofficial pics - a photo of the whole crew - Hax and Tarik from Oh, Brother who are doing my showreel, Simon Howard, the photographer and my PT, Lee Brooks - and a pic Lee took “behind the scenes”. Official pics look amazing but I’m trying to shortlist them. Not easy to pic favourites! What was amazing was having messages from friends through the morning wishing me luck and sending their support, Lee coming and helping me in person, including topping up the baby oil and telling me to eat more jelly babies (I didn’t have to be told twice). And working with pros like Simon, Hax and Tarik who know exactly what they are doing. I have new goals and my next set of motivations and I’m back in the gym today. But I am also taking a moment to be grateful - that I get to eat again today, that I achieved my goal by doing exactly what I needed to do no questions and no cheats, and that, at 55, I am stronger and fitter than I was in my 40s. I will do another shoot at 60 by which time I want to be even bigger - more muscle, more definition, and finally able to do a pull up! @behindthemic_global #leadership #wellbeingatwork #healthyandwellbeing #longevity #employeewellbeing #futureofwork #keynotespeaker @leebrooksofficial @callmebrooksy
