Good morning on the 1's and 2's yesterday with some killers. Ripping up the Guild Wheel with some progressive intervals. A 2:20 marathoner, 2:28 marathoner, 2:33 marathoner, almost everyone in the group with a sub 80 half-marathon PB and a bunch of lads who are in current blocks looking to go close to 2:30 over 26.2 miles in the coming months. Some talent in this team at the minute, I feel lucky to be a part of it!

What a weekend 🤌🏻🙌🏻

A brilliant weekend up in Newcastle. Surprised I didn’t have a nose bleed going that far north 🤣. I was lucky enough to spend the weekend with the @adidasrunning and @startfitnessuk crew talking all things secret shoes. Flat whites, pastries, and then capped off the weekend with my annual catch up with @callumdavidson22 (we only seem to see each other once a year, mid-race 🤣).

This side of the sport, secret shoes, almost getting to treat it like work is unreal. I love working as an Osteopath, but ‘working’ as a content creator for the weekend makes me realise how much I love being part of making running related content too. Especially when you get to spend time with absolute gents like @jamies.running who is as nice as they come.

Got to meet the very talented Alex Mutiso, he was clearly enamoured to meet me too 😂😭, and also the legend @jwardy21 who gave me some great words of inspiration after the race. Surrounding myself with athletes of this calibre is exactly what’s going to help me get to the next level.

We keep building! Locked in! Winter etc begins now! *insert other influencer catch phrases here*

less than 3 weeks till we spin it back & race the legendary @berlinmarathon

this training block hasn't been my fastest, but BOY has it been my most social. i’ve traded fast interval runs for long plods with my favourite & finest, even luna's come down to help me get the kilometre's in

i’ve had manyyyy ask me about what time i’m going for and if i’m honest.. i have no idea (lol) my back has had other ideas this year, so it'll be a "see on day" kind of feature

either way, the main goal is to ✨have fun✨

last year i don’t think i enjoyed a single second ??? with putting SO much pressure on myself to get a time goal.. this time it’s all fun & freedom, who knows what could happen 👀

Helping people become the best version of themselves is what drives me, it is why I became a Primary School Teacher, and it is the same thing that pulled me into coaching athletes.

I have been running since I was 6. Now 23 years later (yikes!), I have represented my country 6-times and currently have PBs of 14:09 for 5k, 29:40 for 10k, 65:22 for the half and 2:21 for the marathon.

I have got an MSc in Exercise Physiology, so what I do is grounded in real science, not just “what worked for me.” Mix that with 23 years of actually living and breathing the sport, and you get coaching that’s both evidence-based and battle-tested.

I have made every-single athletic mistake in the book. I have been stuck on a PB for years. I have been the athlete chasing times. I have been the athlete on a run/walk schedule learning how to run again (on more than one occasion!) Wherever you are at, I’ve been there myself, and I know what it takes to get through it.

Over the last 2 years, I been fortunate enough to work with 17 athletes, from individuals just taking their first steps into running and figuring out what they enjoy, to athletes fighting for podiums, whether that be racing at local 5kms, Ultra-marathons or the Hyrox World Championships

Don’t just take my word for it though, go check out just a few of my athlete’s testimonials in picture 4.

Any questions on the coaching front, DM me.

Don't get us wrong - what we take care of first and foremost is the programming, making sure each athlete is getting what they come to us for, the progression they deserve through a tailored approach.

But what helps, a lot, especially on a group race day or training day - is the community of people in Pink and Black willing you on. We don't just support our own either, we love trying to be the loudest and most energetic squad out there.

Underpinned by people who know exactly what it's like to be in your shoes on race day; we know how much the support can make a difference📣
