Thank you so much to @nianticbayplayhouse and everyone involved in making Anastasia come to life this summer. This was truly one of the greatest #theater productions I've been apart of! It was such a #magical time and it made what might have been an incredibly awful summer for me into a spectacular one! I will miss this cast and can't wait to work with everyone again as soon as we all can!! (I tried to tag as many people as I could so if I missed you, I apologize!!!)

What a cast! What a production. Every single person who was a part of this show is written on my heart. So much talent, so much heart, but above all SO much love! I am as devastated to say goodbye as I am elated to have had the experience. Love you all ❤️

Dear Anastasia,

My heart is just so full. First, full of sadness for now having to lock this experience away as nothing but a memory for me to cherish. This production has given me an opportunity to enjoy performing like I’ve never had before. I can’t thank enough those who made this magical production happen. To my friends, this isn’t goodbye. This is only the beginning, we will continue to make so many more memories together. I will make sure of it. Until then, remember to cherish the great times we had and don’t let go of that feeling when we were all truly happy.

Second, my heart is full of gratitude for meeting the people I did and making friends that will last a lifetime and more. This cast and directorial team was full of the most pure and beautiful hearts. The compassion and welcoming spirit of the playhouse filled my heart with joy and truly made every day feel like home. Walking into callbacks, I didn’t know what to expect or who I would meet. Now, I wish I could spend every day with everyone in that cast.

And finally, my heart is full of hope that true art still has a place in our world. As a community theater, this isn’t any cast member’s full time job. At Niantic Bay Playhouse, people in the cast have jobs outside of theater, come from different walks of life, and we have our own crosses to bear in our day to day lives, but we are united by one thing: our love for theater and appreciation for art. Any struggle in life, illness, depression, or hurt could be left at the door, allowing one to escape. And the people here were the ones who made that escape possible. If there was one thing this experience gave me, it was hope. Hope for our future that maybe true human art will still be appreciated. Art that takes time, patience and toil to perfect, and doesn’t just exist by the typing of a prompt. This beautiful production was possible because of the people and the emotion that was given to make it possible. Remember that an intelligent mind is nothing without a heart, which is why a human’s creativity can never be replaced.

Much love NBP, I’ll see you next summer.

Some customers leave a review.

Others leave us questioning reality. 😂

Don’t worry… it’s a skit. Which moment broke you first? 👇
