A dumb Polaroid I took in 2008 made its way to the cover of my zine...

Way back before Instagram and SnapChat, I was taking a Polaroid a day, all because I'd met a drop dead gorgeous photographer ( @cameronmcnee ), and fallen head over heels in love with him and just wanted to take photos of everything.

And thank heck I did, because I've got so many random, weird and awesome photos of me, of us, of Gael Garcia Bernal, charting the first year we were in love (me and the photographer, not me and Gael), that are there forever, and now a part of a whole other art project: Slightly Feral, my literary zine... Coming SOON.

So never stop taking pictures, as you never know that ninteen years later you might need one in an art project, and nineteen years later, that drop dead gorgeous photographer, might still be in your life - @cameronmcnee

Our whinging dog won't let me shoot using a cookie as a prop, because he thinks it's HIS! Anyway - I was "trying" to tell y'all about my short story COOKIE about a feral little man who finds it impossible to be there to help his sister through heartbreak, because all he can think about is WHO gets to eat the last cookie on the plate. It's not exactly a true story, other than the fact I'm ALWAYS thinking about who gets the last cookie. Like Father like Dog. #slightlyferal #queerwriter #cookiemonster
