Natascha Krakolinig and Sorrento Primary hosted a special ToyBox Pyjama Day & assembly to support ToyBox Australia and Camp Quality, standing in solidarity with children who spend months in hospital battling cancer 💛💫🏥🫶

Students proudly wore their pyjamas in exchange for a gold coin donation and enjoyed a delicious bake sale at recess to raise money for ToyBox grants. Student leaders took part in an inspiring awareness session featuring a powerful real-life story, deepening their understanding of the challenges faced by seriously ill children. The assembly was filled with excitement, featuring an educational Camp Quality Puppet Show, a surprise visit from the Camp Quality mascot, and plenty of fun photo opportunities,

It was a day full of smiles, learning, and heartfelt moments. Thank you @nataschakrakolinig and @camp_quality for this INCREDIBLE fundraising event!❤️💙💛💫

Last Wednesday, we teamed up once again with @camp_quality to help bring moments of happiness to kids across Australia through the incredible Camp in a Box initiative.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Our small but mighty team spent the afternoon packing 200 boxes filled with fun, hands-on activities and surprises, each one designed to bring the camp experience to children at home. Meanwhile, our DHL Express couriers are helping deliver a total of 400 Camp in a Box kits nationwide.⁣⁣

Camp in a Box is part of Camp Quality’s Virtual Camp experience, which brings the excitement of Kids’ Camp to children’s homes through live-streamed adventures and engaging activities - creating connection, fun, and laughter no matter the distance.⁣⁣

As International Women’s Day approaches we reflect on all the wonderful and inspiring women we have the opportunity to work with.

One such woman is our client, Deborah Thomas, CEO of Camp Quality. Deb started at the helm of Camp Quality just prior to COVID 19.

Through ingenuity, commercial nous and resilience she turned challenges into opportunities, sucessfully leading this incredible organisation through the pandemic and into a new era of growth.

STAGE 4 cancer, her body & mind fought hard (with sass of course! 💁🏼‍♀️), my girl kicked CANCERS ARSE…and Ella rang the bell on Friday surrounded by FAMILY & cheer squad (some favs missing!) as well as her amazing medical team! ✨

He is on a mission to walk from Brisbane to Melbourne in 70 days to raise funds & awareness for @camp_quality.

Together with Seb, the pair will clock 2,643km’s dedicating their time and steps to bring back fun & laughter to the lives of kids facing cancer.

Day 5
Today was HARD! My leg is not dealing with the extra activity on top of normal life. I slept with an ice pack on last night. I have a baseline of pain everyday in my bad leg and I try very hard not to take anything for it but I did pop some paracetamol throughout today. I never know what to call my leg because it’s not broken anymore but it also sure as hell ain’t fixed lol.
It’s been great being outside and walking again, even if it is painful and for such an amazing cause. I came across this yesterday when I was sorting out our wardrobe my BIL’s handkerchief. He was a recipient of charities like @camp_quality over the years as he had childhood cancer that lead to many complications in adulthood. It’s actually his anniversary in a few days, I feel like finding it was him cheering us all on.

Wow ! What a great way to spend our Sunday. Thankyou to everyone in Team Giggles of Newcastle who have worked tirelessly around the clock to make this special fundraising event possible today , the first of many I’m sure. Our family knows first hand just how much of a difference camp quality can make to a child fighting & recovering from cancer . The positivity, joy, laughter, friendships , & memories these camps bring are priceless. I’m sure I can speak on behalf of all oncology families when I say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts 🫶🏼 because without you none of this would be possible 🙏

Swapped the van for a cozy cabin retreat this weekend at 📍NRMA, Treasure Island 🏝️ Four nights of family time, relaxation, and embracing what we love most.
