What can a picket line make impossible to ignore?

In 2026, activists gathered outside the Tunisian Embassy in Washington, D.C., to call for the release of the Sumud Four. Among them was Michael Beer of Nonviolence International, joining fellow activists in using a visible picket to draw attention to the detainees and make their demand heard.

This week, we're exploring how picketing can bring a message directly to the institution being addressed.

Did you miss that one workshop about Interrupting without Violence with @fima_ong because of language? No problem!
As promised, the English version.

Here I share with you the first concepts to organize for world peace and human and environmental rights:

Campaigns are Ecosystems: they take time, care, affection and creativity so that they go from being a moment to becoming a movement. Art and Artivism should be used as an infrastructure tool instead of as decoration and aesthetics!

Follow my new venture, @arismendipress (www.arismendi.co) where you will find a digital book of songs and the presentation for the movement for you to download for free.

📣Today’s the day to raise your voice!

✍🏼Call and/or write your member of Congress to cosponsor H. Res. 317 or S. Res. 323 – or thank them for having already done so.

Today is day 3 of our Week of Action, and we know when ordinary people raise their voices at key moments, it creates a clear signal to Congress that the community cares about reducing nuclear risk and supporting justice for communities harmed by nuclear weapons.

❓Don’t know what to say? We’ve got you covered. Click Week of Action link in bio for everything you need.

👉🏽Plus, take a look ahead and plan to get involved in the remaining days of this Week of Action.

EL COMPROMISO ESTÁ EN LO COTIDIANO. 🕊️
