Spontaneous is my middle name 🤷🏽‍♀️😂🖤 One minute there are no plans, the next I spent the weekend with the very special @candicechenade 💚 even raving on a boat 🚤🎶✨ Wouldn’t have it any other way! Ended with 24 hours of laughter….very dark humour 🫶🏾😭

🌱💚 AND THAT’S A WRAP!

Harvest Wellness Festival 2026… you SHOWED UP! 🥹🙌🏾

To everyone who came to eat, shop, dance, learn, play, try something new or simply spend the day with us!

THANK YOU. This is what community looks like. 💚

A huge thank you to our traders, facilitators, creatives and supporters who helped us bring the day to life:

Traders all tagged below

@ajanovaorganic @RoseandHerb @flakiesfashion @health.and.holistics @sincerelynude @plantspaceltd @dear_katiopae @thehiphopfarmers @brotherjoeskitchen @greensoulgrace @dacostajoynaturals 🌱✨

And of course, BIG love to the @blackgrowthcic team and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it happen. 🫶🏾

Every conversation, every purchase, every workshop, every dance, every little one running around the park, all 20k steps we all did individually 😂 it all mattered.

Yesterday was a reminder of exactly why we do this.

More growing. More wellness. More joy. More community. 🌱💚

Until next time…

What if the knowledge we need isn’t new at all… but something we already knew? 🌱

At our last Black Growth Community Day, @gogrowwithlove helped us reconnect with Afroecology. Ancestral knowledge rooted in land, food, community and reciprocity.

From seed saving and companion planting to storytelling, sharing food and learning alongside the next generation, the day was a reminder that we are not separate from nature. We are part of it. 🌍

This isn’t new knowledge. It’s knowledge we’re remembering.

We started as a market but we are more than that!

We are a grassroots Black-British led organisation creating safe spaces for the social and economic empowerment for the Black community in environmentalism and agriculture.

Our work happens over two spaces.

1. We host annual events to highlight Black growers, small business owners and community saviours.
2. We’re building a cultural blueprint for land stewardship and community wealth that drives systemic change through our Urban Farm (market garden).

Feel free to find anyone from the team to learn more about what we do, we'd love to connect 🫂

A little giveaway magic from our Founder, Natalie! 🌻✨

We couldn’t turn up to @demisantanabrown Community Fun Day to celebrate Mick Northwood life and legacy @longlane_jfc, and not add a little something to the raffle! 🎁💛

We are so excited to support and be part of this monumental event, it’s going to be an incredible day!

So, Natalie got to work putting together a little Sunday Sip surprise package… and because apparently a few goodies weren’t enough, we added a couple more bits on the day — including a REAL sunflower! 🌻😂

We hope the lucky winner loved their little bundle as much as we loved putting it together!

What an amazing day of community, fun and good vibes! 💛

More from Demi’s Community Fun Day coming very soon… 👀- ✨

Massive thank you to @hereweflo for the donation 💖💐

THANK YOU to everyone that came down on Saturday for our Heritage Community Day 💛

What we did:
• Transferred wood to our market garden to start shed-building 🪵
• Foraged greens which were added to our delicious veggie lunch 🥬
• Got creative and made bespoke plant pots decorated with heritage symbols and plant dill 🫟
• Learnt about companion planting and dill being a great protector for brassicas like broccoli and cabbage 🥦
• Gave a guided tour to highlight the great work that the Black community are contributing to the shared land 🤎
• Planted tomatoes and gifted a few tomato plugs 🍅

Thanks to @tashapencil for a nourishing lunch including mushroom hot dogs, potato salad, massaged greens with vinegarette dressing and SWEET mourish Sorrel 🤤

Our next Community Day is Saturday 25th July for a Natural Dyes Workshop! Click the link in bio to sign up as spaces are limited 🔗🔗
