We want to thank the Altria team of interns that came to the Capaz+IT Community Growth Center last Wednesday! They were able to provide materials and build kits that will support the literacy goals of the community we serve. Collaborations like this are invaluable to continuing the work of Capaz+IT

Shout out to the squad that helped bring this single to life! @josh_patch_ produced it to perfection and @dxtrose went wild on the cover art @willburg98 brought the thunder on drums and @_snagglet00th added some cello magic Thanks to @capazit and @thegreatbuskrva for giving me the chance to shine. Winning #thegreatbusk was a game-changer. Recorded at @soundofmusicrva | To my partner in crime @enchantedgrovetarot you're the best thing that's ever happened to me - thanks for being my rock. I love you to infinity and beyond. This project's been 9 months in the making and it's my heart on my sleeve. Wish it brings some solace to those who've lost loved ones or are going through tough times. You're stronger than you think. It’s #transdayofvisibility🏳️‍⚧️ and this song is for all my brothers who are now lone wolves #newrelease #distrokid #singersongwritersofinstagram

Some thoughts: Migrants exist. We are here!We contribute to the rich culture that lives in the States. The Migrants. The Queer. The Trans. The Brown & Black. The impoverished. The Houseless. You cannot erase us. And you can’t erase history. And together, WE. WILL. RISE.

AND: Sometimes home will feel both safe, and not safe at the same time. That’s just some people’s reality. But It doesn’t mean it should stay like so forever. Speak from your heart, always. Love will always win! 💯

Stay safe, familia. I’m thinking of you.

Ps. Thanks to @rigzin_gyatso and @capazit for having me as the panel facilitator/panelist on this important conversation at @gallery5arts last June.
