YOURS TRULY - OUT NOW ❤️

Pretty proud of this one!!

This band has grown a ridiculous amount over the last year, and this genuinely feels like the best thing we’ve put out so far.

Massive love to @cappstract for the amazing art! @kersleyroadstudio for always making us sound better than we have any right to, and everyone else who’s had a hand in it along the way.

And thank you to everyone who pre-saved it, shared our shit, came to a show, told a mate about us or just kept listening. It all genuinely helps more than you’d think.

We’re only getting started.

Yours Truly is yours now x

✨Live Painter Spotlight✨

Mitch Capps, the doodle dude is all about alliteration and wordplay, making what they call @cappstract Art. You get it.

Mitch can doodle anything anyone wants on anything anyone wants with an abstract impressionist style, turning any item into a one-of-one piece of art. No item is safe from being converted into art! All he needs is an idea to inspire the piece and then the flow of the doodle takes over and it’s beautiful art o’clock.

Mitch started making art professionally busking as the “dollar-a-minute doodle dude” which led to him drawing along with albums by groovy artists to inspired the piece, making art a profound inspiration for the weird wiggles in the art. Mitch draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, music, and really anything around them!

Mitch designs any object he can get his hands on with his abstract impressionist style! Business is done by making live art, selling prints and original art (sometimes made on beautified objects), and fine art prints.

🫜 @radishfest🫜 is September 12th at @thegreyeagle in Asheville, and I’m excited to be a small part of it! 🎉🎨🤘

I’m donating custom Chonkit pins for attendees, because this is exactly the kind of event I love supporting: 100% by locals, for locals.

It’s a whopping 12 hours of live music with 20+ artists and DJs, live painting, an interactive immersive alley, a makers market, and a workshop tent. Basically, a giant celebration of Asheville’s creative community.

A special shoutout to the headliner, Tuba Skinny 🎺🎶… a band I’ve followed for a while, is amazing to see live, and was the perfect music pairing for this reel!

I love discovering new talent, supporting local artists, and being part of a community that keeps making cool things happen. ❤️

Come celebrate local art, music, makers, and all the wonderfully weird things that make Asheville Asheville.
