A lesson to those in the fine arts: Becoming a master requires a sacrifice of time and patience, but it should never cost you your health (mentally or physically). We all have limitations and should never push ourselves to exhaustion. Believe me, I have gotten seriously ill because of neglecting to take breaks. Therefore, please remember to eat, sleep, and rest well to ensure you are ready for your next event!

Hi Everyone! We had so many amazing entries of Caspian, Taylor and the book dragon, I just wanted to feature them all rather than just post the winners! I honestly loved all of them and will be printing them out to put on the wall of our new house in Caspian's room, so I'll share that when that gets done hopefully around March!

Congrats to @kleoite and @_elatra_ for second place, the craftsmanship for BOTH of these pieces was so professional! I loved the sheer joy and spirit Kleoite has with Caspian riding the dragon and spreading the news of the book! And then adored how the older Caspian looked in Elatra's style as well as the composition and glow of the dragons wings!

For first place we went with @aubreemeyersillo piece because it has this traditional childrens book vibe and we kept coming back to it to look at all the little trinkets and details put into the books and toys around the dragon and Caspian! And has an overall warm and cozy look which I loved!!

Thank you again everyone for participating! There will be a little surprise sent to you at the end of the week in your DM's for your entries so keep an eye out for that!

And thank you everyone who has spread word of our finished book as we work on getting it published! You are all awesome!

Lots of Love!!

Abby

A drawing for @cappucatccino_art ! Thank you again for entering the DTIYS~! I actually had a lot of fun doing some research on this Chinese artist myself while I was drawing him! And you draw him so cute! 🥰

Thanks for your patience everyone while I slowly get these prize drawings done and then we’ll resume our story with Lychee and Rollo~! On another note anyone know why or care to explain what happens when I import images from Procreate to procreate dreams and why the colors go so crazily askew?

⭐️READ DESCRIPTION⭐️

A big thank you to everyone who submitted entries for the DTIYS challenge!

My husband and I were thrilled to see your amazing interpretations of Idral. Each entry brought something special, and your skill and creativity was fun to see!

To show our appreciation for all the fantastic work, we’d like to celebrate everyone who participated! Here’s some exciting news: Every DTIYS entry will be receiving the first place prize! We’ll be reaching out to each of you via DM to discuss the character you’d like drawn as your reward, along with mailing details.

Congratulations as well to @loggiechik , our raffle winner! A collection of awesome D&D buttons is heading your way.

We’re already thinking about another fun challenge for next year! In the meantime, get ready for more writing adventures and character art featuring Rollo and Lychee as they tackle the mystery of the forest.

Thank you once again to everyone who participated! We truly appreciate your time and talent!
