POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This is the hardest post I’ll ever have to make, mostly because I still can’t process the fact that you’re actually gone.

You are the love of my life, and you showed and told me every single day how much you loved me. I have never felt a love like yours. My whole world is shattered into a million pieces. I will never be able to move past this. My heart has a hole that will never be filled for the rest of my life.

The way you lit up a room when you walked in, your love for playing music, your whole energy was electric and magnetic. Your joy was contagious and everyone who knew you loved you so deeply. Your sweet nature was so pure and childlike and I will never ever forget that.

You were my best friend, an amazing captain & fisherman, and incredible singer & guitarist, a champion skier, the best golfer, and my favorite person ever.

You will always be the treasure at the end of every rainbow I see.

I will mourn our future and this loss forever.

Please respect my privacy and my absence from work, social media, and events while I take time to grieve this unimaginable loss and try to navigate what the rest of my life will look like.

For those of you wondering, Adam struggled with a lifelong depression that was triggered when he lost everything in the floods earlier this year, and he could never really bounce back from that. He ultimately lost his battle Friday morning, leaving us of his own accord.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health I beg you to reach out for help. Sometimes all the love in the world isn’t enough and people need real professional help. Please don’t be afraid to ask for help, this world is much brighter with you in it.

If you’ve been following my stories the last few days you’ve seen the absolute devastation that our beloved north shore is going through including my boyfriends house and shed (essentially Kimmy Kai Headquarters) where I have all of my work tools, supplies, market stuff, tables, tent, etc etc.

Adam’s whole house is completely ruined, the flood waters came knee deep into his house in the middle of the night peaking between 3-5am while he was asleep, with no warning sirens, & the shed outside was completely flipped on its side submerging everything inside in the muddy rushing waters.

When he woke up at 8am the entire house was completely covered in a thick layer of red mud that destroyed every single inch of the house and all of his possessions. The flood waters had come all the way up to the seats inside of his Tacoma, waking up to MANDATORY EVACUATION notices on his phone, he had to pray his truck would even start, then hope it would even be able to make it through the flood waters to evacuate.

Armed with only his passport, & our neighbors outdoor cat (who was on his lanai screaming meows and completely drenched in mud), his truck miraculously started, made it through 3ft+ of flood water, and somehow it managed to make it to my place in town before it died & started short circuiting.

We returned the next day to complete devastation. His whole house and life, and my business world, all in one place.

All we can do now is start to pick up the literal pieces. The 1st day was overwhelming with where to start…

Then day two: the entire north shore community really showed up! That gave us hope that maybe, just maybe, we will be able to do this.

Our north shore community has been nonstop with reaching out with hands, financial support, medical and cleaning supplies, even people bringing me new boots when mine failed!!

If you’re looking for a way to help support us, you can support my business by purchasing jewelry on my website, or I have my personal Venm on my stories.

I’ve also started a go fund me for my boyfriend who lost eveything. Link is in my bio.
