I have always dreamed of doing this show, and i am more than blessed to have achieved one of my dream roles so young!! thank you to everyone who has made this journey so amazing!! and to the people i will never forget from this show!!

Never would I thought my first musical would be this fun! This was such an amazing thing to do over the summer and I’m glad to meet so many new people, we had very funny moments and memorable moments that I will cherish forever. @winthroptheatre my thank you will go out to you always and forever for the rest of my theater journey! The 4 years here have taught me so much about myself and theater and I’m so extremely excited to start my next steps in Mississippi with all you’ve taught me.

To my friends, you all have made me a; softer, kinder, more open, more fun, more caring, and more loving soul. I thank you all for that so greatly. I truly think every person I met has touched me and left a speck of their beautiful persons on to mine. I’m leaving knowing I’m taking a piece of every person I love with me. We may be far from here on out but your space in my brain in heart is always there. PLEASE never hesitate to reach out, near or far 🩷🩷🩷🩷

last weekend i graduated university with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a concentration in Acting and a minor in Film & Content Production. Thank you to my professors for helping me discover more about my passions. Thank you to the friends who stuck with me at my worst and made me laugh on bad days. Thank you to my family for supporting me and giving me the space to pursue what i love. Thank you to my younger self for not being afraid to. To my present self, who has done a lot of growing to get here. & thank you to my future self, whoever she may be. I can’t wait to meet her! 💫

Finally, I have not included the name of my university yet because at this point, I cannot say I am proud to have graduated from Winthrop University, and I wish that wasn’t the case. @winthropu please take accountability for your ongoing actions which dehumanize the people on your campus. your students shouldn’t be living in fear of their dorm being infested with mice (happened to me), fainting in class because there’s no AC, or being discriminated against by your faculty. your “eagles” can’t fly if you keep clipping their wings.

Veryyy late end of semester post, and my graduation post will be even later!

I cant believe how fast college has flown by, but at the same time freshman year feels like lifetimes ago. So many things have happened during my time at Winthrop, and I’ve changed so much since I first came here, hopefully for the better. This past semester has been absolute favorite semester here. I got to be apart of so many amazing works of art, I made so many friends and strengthened the friendships I already had. I cannot express how much it means to me. I’m so happy to go out on a good note at Winthrop and I’m so grateful for the experiences this school has given me. Thank you to everyone who has supported me on the way. I’m so excited (and scared) of what the future has in store for me <3

An Enemy of the People closed this past week and all I can think about is how lucky I am to have this as my first show at Winthrop. I am so so so lucky to have been able to work on this show with such an incredibly kind, welcoming, and talented cast and crew. To all of the cast and crew thank you so much for being as kind, passionate, funny, and charming as you all are. I’m so excited to see everything else you all do both at Winthrop and beyond.

An Enemy of the People is my last play at Winthrop and I couldn’t be happier it was this show. This is my favorite show I’ve ever been a part of here. Billing was such a fun character to play, playing him helped me learn how to ground myself in realism in ways I’ve never really had to before, and to find more nuances outside of being just comedic relief. This show has been so healing and rewarding for me in so many ways, it’s given my love of acting a new lease on life and I couldn’t be more grateful.

To the cast and crew I am so thankful for y’all. This is the most pleasant, warm, and open rehearsal space I have ever been in at Winthrop. I am so happy I spent my last show here surrounded by people that make me feel so happy and safe. I admire all of you so much as performers and as people, I hope to work with you all again in the future. Thank you especially to my fellow seniors Mason, Cara, and Aidan. It’s been wonderful growing closer to you guys in this time and the bond we formed during this show will stay in my heart forever.

Saying goodbye to Enemy is very bittersweet, I wish we could go on performing it forever. I’m so excited to see what’s in store for everyone. Until next time, sköl!

We Enemy of the People’d!☠️🐀💦🎩📰

This show was such a treat to get to work on and experience. This cast and crew made this process a joy every step of the way and I could not be more grateful to have gotten to work with all of these lovely lovely LOVELY people.

As an actor, Morten was such a fun challenge to tackle. Morten is such a complex man with multitudes, and it forced me to delve into the psyche of an age demographic which I am far from, as well as just generally battling with my inner morals in comparison to his own. It has been an honor to have the opportunity to work with this character and get to share to the world my take on him.

To the cast and crew, thank you for always being so supportive of me and thank you for helping to foster such a welcoming and inclusive space. Though our time was short, the memories we’ve created together will last a lifetime. I love you all dearly!
