For a long time, I felt like I had to choose. Artist or designer. Painting or patterns. Personal work or commercial projects. Creating for myself or creating for others. But the truth is, I’ve always been interested in many things. And maybe trying to separate all those parts of myself was never the answer. My journey has changed direction many times — and lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about where I want to take it next. I don’t have everything figured out. But I do know that I want to make more space for curiosity, intuition, colour, experimentation and the ideas that don’t always fit neatly into a category. So, this is me. And this is a little introduction to the world I’m building with Maria Montiel Studio. ✨ ________ Durante mucho tiempo sentí que tenía que elegir. Artista o diseñadora. Pintura o patrones. Trabajo personal o proyectos comerciales. Crear para mí o crear para otros. Pero la verdad es que siempre me han interesado muchas cosas. Y quizás intentar separar todas esas partes de mí nunca fue la respuesta. Mi camino ha cambiado de dirección muchas veces y, últimamente, he estado pensando mucho en hacia dónde quiero llevarlo ahora. No tengo todo resuelto. Pero sí sé que quiero dejar más espacio para la curiosidad, la intuición, el color, la experimentación y para esas ideas que no siempre encajan perfectamente en una categoría. Así que esta soy yo. Y esta es una pequeña introducción al mundo que estoy construyendo con María Montiel Studio ✨

Yoga in der Ferienzeit Yoga-Vertretung in der Sommerpause! Liebe Yogi*nis, der Sommer ist da und auch für mich ist es Zeit für eine kleine Auszeit. Vom 10. August bis einschließlich 6. September bin ich im Urlaub. Damit ihr auch in dieser Zeit weiter Yoga genießen könnt, habe ich eine wunderbare Vertretung gefunden: Hanna übernimmt während meiner Abwesenheit alle Yogastunden im @riva__hotel Bitte beachtet: Die Stunden am Montag, 10. August, und Montag, 17. August finden nicht statt. Die Abendkurse im Studio Rose pausieren während meiner Sommerpause ebenfalls und starten erst wieder nach meinem Urlaub. Die Vertretungsstunden sind ab sofort online buchbar. Ich freue mich sehr, dass ihr auch während meiner Abwesenheit weiter auf der Matte zusammenkommen könnt. Ab 7. September bin ich wieder zurück und freue mich darauf, mit frischer Energie gemeinsam mit euch in die Yogapraxis zu starten. Ich wollte euch unbedingt diese Bilder zeigen… ✨ Sie sind bei einem so besonderen Shooting mit Cara @caraschanuel entstanden – einer unglaublich einfühlsamen und talentierten Fotografin. Und ehrlich? Ich war vorher so aufgeregt. Dieses Gefühl, gesehen zu werden, sich vor eine Kamera zu stellen… das macht etwas mit einem. Umso verrückter ist es, jetzt die Ergebnisse zu sehen. Weil ich mich selbst oft gar nicht so als „Frau“ wahrnehme, wie ich es auf diesen Bildern tue. Weich. Stark. Präsenzvoll. Und da wird mir wieder bewusst, wie selbstkritisch wir eigentlich mit uns sind. Wie sehr unser eigener Blick verzerrt sein kann. Wie schnell wir Dinge an uns sehen, die vielleicht sonst niemand sieht. Diese Bilder erinnern mich daran, dass da noch so viel mehr ist. Dass wir uns erlauben dürfen, uns auch mal mit anderen Augen zu sehen. 💛 Danke, liebe Cara, für diesen Raum und deinen Blick.
