Aaaannnnnddd I’m finally finished for Christmas! My final order was this adorable penguin bag woooooo - feels really nice to end the year with not only a happy creature bag, but a festive one too!

I’ll still be hopping in one stories over the break but I’ll be a little quieter as I desperately need to just take a break. This year has been wonderful and I’ve made good progress with my little business and my confidence is growing, I’ve pushed myself a lot though and my little brain is beyond frazzled so a nice cosy lazy Christmas break is going to be so lovely and then I can come back for 2026 with all the joy and biscuits and raccoons and general rambling nonsense 😂

I’ll do a proper post before new years but just a quick thank you to every single person who has supported me this year - whether it’s buying a bag from me or supporting me at a local market when I’m nervous, sending me love when I have a wobble, liking or sharing or commenting on any of my content, messaging me about biscuits and making me laugh, I really do feel so so lucky that somehow this properly nervous socially anxious egg has found my people on insta 🥹 you’re the best! Isla, the raccoons and I hope you have a beautiful Christmas if you celebrate it, or whatever energy you like to end the year with I’m sending you all the biggest most loving cuddly vibes 🥰

For all you fellow bagmakers, the pattern for this bag is the Hugo by the lovely @carbonchic with the Wild Wonders add-on for the penguin (that add-on also has my fave, the raccoon fyi!) and all my vegan leather is from the best of the best @bluemothfabrics - I’m so sorry I can’t remember for the life of me where I got the penguin lining fabric 🙈

Rolling into my 40s fully embracing the old lady hobbies - my word sewing is addictive 🙈 sometimes I forget that I only bought a sewing machine 2 years ago 🤣 It’s changed my life so much and I just cannot get enough.

Here are my new buddy bags for my autumn collection (from the incredible Hugo pattern by @carbonchic ) - and as always my fabrics are from the bestest @bluemothfabrics 🦋

All of these cuties are on my website now, with the exception of the cheeky little bat who had already flown off to his new home before I took my product photos 🤣 I’m currently making another bat but he’s also already been paid for ready for his new home - so bats are clearly having a moment this autumn heehee. I’ll make another one as soon as I can, keep an eye on my stories for all the updates 🥰🦇

My Cosy Season collection is live on my website now, lots of pieces are one-offs because I either can’t get certain fabrics anymore or I can’t make tonnes of the super fiddly ones very often, because apparently I have to do things like eat and sleep 🤣
