that’s a wrap on another season dancing with the @metoperaballet at the @metopera!

what i thought would be a once-in-a-lifetime gig has somehow become a place where i not only get to perform regularly, but also help lead and make change ❤️

for me, this is a reminder of how we can make the extraordinary ordinary (and then extraordinary again), and the impossible possible.

thinking about Janet Collins and Leontyne Price, and those displaced from the San Juan Hill community, i don’t take for granted what was sacrificed for me to be there.

the butterflies are still there.
so is the gratitude. and so is the work.
