Update: we have reached our maximum amount of artists. Look for art auction details coming soon. Tag/share with your FAVORITE Great Lakes Artist(s). Artists – if your work is about or inspired by the Great Lakes, we would love your help to raise funds for our mission of keeping the Great Lakes clean through marine debris prevention and removal.

We are seeking artists who are willing to donate a piece of their work for a Great Lakes Art Auction. We understand art can be undervalued, so we want to make this a mutually beneficial opportunity. If you are willing to donate a piece of your work, we will use all of our GLGR platforms to highlight your work. Great Lakes Great Responsibility will reimburse you for up to $50 (USD) for shipping so you are truly only donating your art (and a little bit of your time!)

To submit a piece for donation, please see the link in our bio (solo.to/greatlakeslove). We will be accepting up to 20 pieces of work and anticipate hosting the auction in late October through early November.

Donations received from the auction will be used to prevent and remove trash/marine debris from the Great Lakes, helping to keep our freshwater FRESH.

Swipe through to see select art featured in our 2021 auction. Cover artwork featured here is from the lovely @adelewebster_art who was a visionary behind the first auction we hosted.

We have tried hard to find some awesome local fun for in and around the shop.

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.

Meet Cameron from Cardtography. In March 2016, Cardtography was born in a basement with just a desire to make something cool. Fundamentally, that's all this was about! ⁣ Maps tell a story, and Cardtography handmade lake maps bring that story to life!

Everyone has a story about THEIR Lake. The one they grew up on, the one they camped at as a kid, the one they take their kids to. And nothing is more important to us to be able to capture that magic and hang it on your wall.⁣

Each map is sourced from actual survey data and converted into a digital computer file. The layers are cut from high-quality cardstock and then meticulously hand-assembled in our studio in London, Ontario.

We currently have Eugenia and Georgian Bay in store. These are unframed and 12 x 12.
