Chapter 75

I remember this moment so clearly.

Standing on that edge… terrified.
I have a real fear of heights—
which is ironic, considering my life.

I was shaking, overthinking, ready to back away.

And then my friend carfaxplease said,
“Relax. You’re okay. Just breathe.”

And I did.

I trusted him.
Then I trusted myself.

And I stepped into the moment anyway.

It’s amazing what happens in life
when you have people who steady you
until you learn how to stand on your own.

Some people come to lift you.
Some come to reveal what no longer aligns.

Either way…
every moment is shaping you.

Life lesson at 43 #8:
Trust yourself… even on the edge.

At 43, I understand that now. 💗

My momma was a community mom. I mean who let their child throw their own field trip at the end of the year from 6th to 12th? She used to rent me a greyhound to VA beach🙏🏾💪🏾Then we got grown at 17 and did Myrtle til we graduated. My mom got us a condo for like a week and let us drive down the 6 hrs....17/18yr olds 😜😎
