I’ve received an invite…very different to one Id normally receive. This one doesn’t require a dress or heels.

@caringbah.redbacks have invited me to a free 4 week female #football program

I replied with full disclosure I’ve never even exercised in my life 😬

Apparently that’s ok!! 😀

I need shin pads though 🤔

What a fantastic initiative … so you know what? I’m going to do it 🙈

I might break a record for an injury in the warm up but it looks fun

A huge thank you to the club for all it does for community football in the Sutherland Shire … a very professional and inclusive organisation

Pathway Product: Anthony Knowles 🤝

Sutherland Sharks are pleased to confirm pathway product Anthony Knowles has been promoted into the first grade squad for the Australian Championship and 2027 season.

Anthony’s story started at Caringbah Redbacks before he came through our SDS and JDL programs from age 7 to 12. He then spent six years with Sydney FC, before making his way back home to us last year in the U18s and moved into the U20s in 2026. Now he gets his shot at senior football with the club that started it all.

A true development story. Welcome to first grade, Anthony 🙌🦈

The final hitouts of the season 🥊

We might be down to the final competitive fixtures of the season but they don’t get much bigger than Football NSW Champions of Champions

With the best of the best from across the state going head to head we were bound to see 2 deploy clubs go to battle.

In stepped both @forestkillarneyfootballclub and @caringbah.redbacks as they met in round 1 of the competition 🏆

Champion of Champions round 1 🏆

It was great seeing both @forestkillarneyfootballclub and @caringbah.redbacks going head to head in Champion of Champions over the weekend 🕷️☘️

It would be the boys in green who would advance following a 4-0 victory ⚽️

Work starts next week on a $2.79 million indoor multi‑sport pavilion at Endeavour Sports High School, part of the NSW Government’s upgrade of the 5SPORTS complex in Caringbah.

The new facility will cover two existing courts, giving Endeavour students exclusive daytime access and the community use after hours.

Completion is slated for February 2027.

The project, funded through the Multi‑Sport Community Facility Fund, also includes upgraded playing fields and clubhouse spaces for all‑weather sport.

Two smaller outdoor fields were finished in 2025, and the full‑size synthetic pitch meeting standards for football, rugby league and union.
