Dolomites on analog.

Hike, run or ride on the trails. The views do the rest. Big rock walls, open sky, beautiful valleys. No filters needed.

And then there’s the sound. Not always silence. Sometimes fast cars on the mountain roads. Sometimes birds and animals in the quiet.

Nature and people, sharing the same place.

During our journey in the Khumbu region in the Himalayas🇳🇵, we gradually ascended to an altitude of 5,365 meters to reach EBC🏔️. It took us a total of 13 days to transition from 2700 meters to this height and go down in a loop route, carefully acclimatizing along the way.

We passed through charming villages, met friendly locals, shared the way with yaks, donkeys, horses, sheep, and dogs, discovered stunning landscapes, drank a lot of ginger lemon tea, eat garlic soup, and made frequent stops to hydrate and catch our breath during the steep climbs.

Unfortunately, I contracted gastroenteritis on the first day, which made the route even more challenging and We spent 11 days without a shower, due to the cold and altitude it’s not recommended🫣🏔️

It's still a thoroughly worthwhile and unique adventure✨

THE TRAKA WEEK💣
The first event of the @gravelearthseries23 has come to an end. First time as a presenter of the series (and first time of my whole life). It was a very intense week surrounded by very special people, thank you @crisboschf @gerardfreixes @athelticaffair @maiafish and the media team for making everything much easier and fun. Happy to devirtualize a lot of people, and meet lots of old and new friends.
See you in June at @nature_is_bike 🔥
