Friday 31st July- NZPFU takes part in Strike number 50. I could write a Harry Potter size novel explaining how disappointing it is to be still in a stalemate with our “So called Management”. They are happily taking 1 hours wage from us every strike which is adding up as you could imagine. @nzpfu truly do stand in unity and I’m extremely proud to be able to stand alongside each and every member as we keep fighting for the fire service our great country deserves! The leadership of FENZ in my opinion are making it quite clear that protecting life and property is not at the forefront of their agenda. Instead they are lying to our government, doing shady deals buying $30 million dollars worth of fire appliances without even testing a prototype. Hence why there are still zero in operation they also don’t have warranties because they are 7 going on 8 years old. Failed uniform projects and some sort of good for nothing payroll system that miraculously helped I believe between $50- $100 million dollars vanish with literally nothing to show for it! With the amount of blatant fabrication of stories that our management have designed to try and cover their asses what could they be hiding if your operating with integrity there should never have been a need to lie!
Thank you to my friends and family who take the time to actually ask what’s happening and then telling their friends etc the word is spreading this abomination of a leadership team are being exposed so we can’t stop now! Let’s keep fighting for a fit for purpose fire service who can help our communities when they need us most! Cheers. Just a quick shoutout to @timcostleynz for listening to the firefighters and the battles we face every day, and also taking our supposed “Management “ to task and calling them out for not having answers to basic operational questions. I also enjoyed you mentioning out loud that they were dancing around questions and actually have no idea of what’s going on. Time for some real accountability in our organisation and a whole new team of leaders who will be expected to prioritise our ability to turnout and help our communities in their time of need 🔥🤙🏼

This years sky tower challenge was by far my favourite yet! Zero stair training made it to the finish with air in my cylinder which was my goal this year so absolutely pumped. Even better climbing alongside my @palmerstonnorthfire brigade lads 🤘🏼🔥 we got some 🤘🏼🔥
