Day 1: Not a Self Portrait I’m giving myself a little October challenge: draw something every day and stop overthinking the blank page. My 5 and 7 year olds can just pick up a pen and create without the 14-step internal approval process I’m used to, so I’m borrowing some of that energy. Wish me luck 🤞🏽 #october #procreate #portraits #hallowen #black Fun fact: My kids are convinced I’ve drawn myself. A very Leo thing to do, but I promise I am not my own muse. Her face just came to me the easiest. Next portrait, I’m making her look totally different to me. The process. I need to practice the art of layering, patience and trusting the process. I was ready to dash that iPad 5mins in, BUT! I layered up, followed through and let her come to me.
