Hi 👋 I’ve been working on my next songs album (almost there 🔮) and haven’t done much solo playing out recently….

Until tonight! Really looking forward to playing with @mimcrellin and @morten.duun for their EP release show at Threes, and opening the night with a solo/duo set (w/ @ryan_el_solh ).

**tomorrow** Friday, November 22

Bringing my music to @nyc_close_up with a special ensemble : @nydanalyn on viola, @ivanplaysmusic on clarinet and alto saxophone, @jacobsacksmusic on piano and @marinebiologistmike on drums.

Really excited to bring various songs and pieces of mine to life in this new format at this fantastic club. I love improvising with each of these musicians and can’t wait to see what happens in performance.

Would love to see you there!!

Had a great time briefly touring the NE last week with Scree and @wildflovvr. Some highlights: Palace Diner in Biddeford, ME / getting to hang and play with Adrian (Wildflower). Loved hearing his songs every night. Here we are at @club.m0ss / sunrise / the Museum of Regional Seasonals at Distant Castle in Worcester, MA / playing with Carmen and Jason which is an ongoing highlight of my life

Tonight at the Owl: Join Scree to celebrate the release of Live at the Owl, Vol. 2

The great @abushumays will start the show, do not miss.

Scree will play in both trio and septet formats (feat. @ivanplaysmusic @leave__on @zoshazosha and David Balatero), including some brilliant new @ryan_el_solh arrangements and compositions.

The tapes are gorgeous, thank you @benedict.kupstas for your stunning art and design work as always. Come to the show and hold one in your hands 🤲

❗️❗️New Scree track: “Exclamation Point” off Live at the Owl vol. 2. ❗️❗️

• I love the little moments of “chatting” between the three of us on this recording, the subtle or not so subtle moments of interplay. That’s why I love playing with Carmen and Jason

• the title refers to emails, customer service, and various other moments of fake enthusiasm. No, I don’t have a favorite item on the cocktail menu

• full record is out 7/19 on @ruinationrecordco

•❗️release show ❗️will be ❗️7/25 ❗️at @theowlbk (of course) featuring a special expanded lineup with @ivanplaysmusic @zoshazosha @leave__on and David Balatero.

• I am excited and honored to say that we’ll be sharing the evening with @abushumays, truly one of the most inspiring musicians in NYC

• thank you @benedict.kupstas for another beautiful poster (slide two)
