Un poco de septiembre bajo el agua.

Feliz de que se termine el calor y un poco triste de despedir el verano. Siempre ha sido mi época favorita, porque es cuando más puedo estar en el mar.

Gracias a mis amiguis sirenas @melaasea @rom_at_sea @monica_gomezzz por compartir conmigo episodios de su verano. Las quiero mucho 🥹
Gracias a los clientes que, se convirtieron en amigos. Gracias a la gente nueva que llegó y a todas las personas que, de una forma u otra, fueron parte de este verano tan increíble, intenso y de los más ocupados que he tenido.

Me quedo con el corazón lleno, con muchos momentos bonitos y con mucha gratitud.

Que viva la vida y que viva el verano. 🥂 Ahora toca disfrutar la temporada del viento 🪁 seguir disfrutando del mar de otras maneras y esperar con ganas el verano 2027

Lección del 2026: Las cosas no siempre son lo que parecen.

Ese día… puff, creo que estuve a punto de que me diera un paro cardíaco: yo, ingenuamente, convencida de que era un juvenil de mi especie favorita del momento, el pez remo (Regalecus russelii). Sin embargo, después de consultar a los expertos de verdad, descubrí que en realidad era un juvenil de lenguado.

Dato interesantísimo: de pequeño, el lenguado tiene esta forma con un ojo en cada lado de la cabeza (como cualquier pez), y así se mantiene hasta que se hace adulto y se va al fondo. Es entonces cuando uno de sus ojos migra hacia el mismo lado que el otro, dándole esa cara tan peculiar y la posibilidad de vivir en el fondo marino.

My first trip to La Ventana was for the sea.

But I keep returning for the people who have found sanctuary there.

Strong women with beautifully different stories. Souls that radiate passion, openness, freedom, and love… not because they are perfect, but because they embrace one another through life’s imperfections.

Before La Ventana, I never truly understood what it meant to find your soul tribe, or how deeply we all need a sense of community.

Somewhere along the way, much of our culture began to see needing a village as weakness or codependency. But I believe the opposite is true. We were never meant to do life alone.

A village gives us a safe place to grow. It reminds us who we are when we forget. It challenges us, celebrates us, catches us when we fall, and gives us the courage to become the most authentic version of ourselves. It’s picking up the phone at 3am to talk you through hard moments with no anger or irritation. It’s loving you unconditionally when you feel like you’re too much.

I’m endlessly grateful that this little corner of the world introduced me to mine (some not pictured but still so important). 🤍 Getting me all soft and choked up writing this 😅

After weeks of freediving, I convinced my friends to leave the fins behind and join me for a morning of stand-up paddling. Thank you guys for joining this little adventure 🫶🏽💕

Would it heal your heart a little if I did a little beach day with paddle boards, tents, dogs, iced coffee and snacks? 😏

The @saltysoulsfreediving shark dive crew. :)

After a 3am wake up and a 2.5hr drive to Cabo, We went out to Gordo Banks w/ @orcadivebaja and had the good fortune of meeting a few curious silky sharks, which was great. :)

But then, when we were swimming back to the boat to change location, I just felt like doing a little freedive down to swim back underwater and randomly bumped into a school of scalloped hammerhead sharks down at around 12m! Talk about a gift on World Shark Day! 🥰

My very first hammerheads and what an amazing way of finding them. Thank you universe. 🙏🏼

This Blue Lotus Ceremony in Baja was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever had the honor of holding.🪷🙏🏻🤍

Born from the sacred waters of the Nile, the Blue Lotus has been honored in Egypt for thousands of years as a flower of spiritual awakening, intuition, and rebirth. Through its gentle medicine, we opened our hearts, expanded our awareness, and remembered the ancient wisdom carried within every woman.

Together we danced, sang, honored the Egyptian Goddesses, immersed ourselves in the sea, and gathered around the fire, remembering the wisdom that already lives within each of us 🌹

A heartfelt thank you to @iawai.maktub for holding such a beautiful masculine presence throughout the ceremony. Your grounded energy, support, and devotion created a safe space for us to fully open and express ourselves. 🔥

And thank you @anabelvandesande , for capturing these precious moments with so much love while also being fully present and sharing the ceremony with us. Your eye and your heart are reflected in every image 📸

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for every woman who said yes to this journey of remembrance. 🤍
