🎉 500 Classes for Caroline 🎉

What has been the most rewarding part of your Pure Barre journey so far?
All the little milestones along the way—holding that 90-second plank, increasing weights in Define, and taking more balance challenges (without *completely* toppling over). The steady physical and mental improvement I’ve seen has been the best part of propelling me forward in my fitness journey.

How has your mindset about fitness or wellness evolved since starting PB?
I was famously unathletic and almost allergic to exercise when I was younger. Group fitness used to intimidate me—until I started Pure Barre in 2017 in NYC. It was the first time I felt comfortable and confident in a group setting. Now, I look forward to class because I know I’ll always feel better after. PB has helped keep my (notoriously bad) back strong, my mind clear, and even inspired me to explore new challenges—like running my first 10k this spring!

Is there a specific PB moment that stands out to you?
Hitting 500 is such a meaningful milestone! I made it to 250 in NYC before moving to Richmond, so starting over was a bit daunting—but hitting 500 here feels even sweeter.

What’s your favorite PB move or class format?
I love the addition of Define! I never thought I’d be using weights above 3lbs 😂. Align and Define keep my weeks balanced. (Least favorite move? Chair. I’ll take a plank over Chair any day!)

We are so excited for you Caroline! Cheers to the next challenge!

❤️ This one just hits different 🥲 long post alert ⤵️

Caroline & Joe.

Caro, Carocita, Joe-Bob, not to be that girl, but honestly….where DO I begin?

Over the past several years, we have seen each other through so many changes in life. We have just as much fun going out on the town, traveling together, and having a wild pool day as we do just sitting on the couch and “gabbin” as we love to say.

You two are more than my friends, you’re my family. We speak the same language and sometimes we communicate from across the room without using words at all 👀 cuz, we just know. 😆❤️

This experience with y’all is like nothing else because we spent several months seeing sides of each other that most people don’t get to see. Our most professional selves came together for MONTHS, all while balancing how much fun we have together as well. I truly can say it’s made us closer than ever and that it has been one of the truest honors of my life to walk beside y’all through SELLING your current home and now PURCHASING you new home…AND at the same time!?

You both handled this selling & buying process with grace, direct communication, patience (which we know it took a lot of), and the fullest trust in me which truly brought my confidence as a Realtor to a new height.

I loved setting up the many open houses with y’all and making sure the mimosas and treats were out that no one ever ate but we had the routine to a science. I loved putting my headband on and then taking it off so that you’d know I was Realtor Casey and not best friend Casey, which allowed us to seamlessly transition into work-mode as a group. I loved having 3 separate group chats for months, one for each house and one for personal chats. Aww, I’ll miss the house group chats! 🥲
I loved having you and the dogs over while your home got inspected and popping a bottle with you during your new home’s inspection. I loved being able to line up both sales so that you can take your time moving from one place to the next without having to find a place in-between. I loved every single moment of this process with you two, and there are SO many more.

Thank you for your trust and most of all, your friendship. ❤️

Incredible show from Jack’s Mannequin last night! There’s something powerful about standing in a crowd for a band you don’t really know. Feeling the energy from people who it means so much to. Watching the way the music hits them, the way the lyrics resonate with them. @sarah_bechard show choices are undefeated. #jacksmannequin #andrewmcmahon
