This screening gathers stories from the threshold, or what anthropology calls liminality that fluid, twilight state where time stretches, boundaries blur, and social certainties drop away. The films in this curation dwell intentionally in the betwixt and between. They follow characters dragging coffins across indeterminate landscapes, grandchildren sweeping the graves of ancestral strangers, and communities listening for whispers in a fractured wind. We will gather here at Accent Sisters because we believe that every film deserves a real audience, a room of people who will truly watch, laugh, cry, and carry these fragments home with them when the lights come on. In this intimate space of transition, where the old world has faded but the new has not yet solidified, memory becomes our only gravity, and this room becomes our bridge. ⇆ ◁ ❚❚ ▷ ↻ 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬: Brandon Aquino Straus Caroline Walkup Courtney Taniguchi + Yan Sham-Shackleton Haohao Qiaoshi Liu Jerry Li Jodey Yang Jui-En ”Ray“ Chang Rebecca Wong Shile Liu Tenzin Wodhean Yannie Yiyang Gu Zhelun ”Jerry“ Lin 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 Chloe Wu (NYC), Fina Zhou (LA) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐲 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐑 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐫 https://luma.com/ye3rdplb$
