701.1lbs / 318kg to chip the @bcpowerliftingassociation 83kg open Deadlift record. Side quest done ✅️ Dealt with nerve pain for the better part of the last month, so I adjusted expectations coming in today with an open mind. Stoked with how things played out 😅 First time lifting at @sfuliftingclub and it was probably the most fun I've had at a meet. Always a blast lifting with the homies. Thanks to my circle of people who propped me up today and along the way, y'all know who you are 🤝 Special shouty to @mrangalex who I will trust my game day with forever, @tim_monigatti for making me decent, @strengthlabyvr for unrivaled training facilities and @mj.physio at @casciolisc for patching me up 👩‍🦽 230 / 152.5kg (+2.5) / 318 (+8) Total: 700.5kg (+0.5) Time to (re) lock in for Nationals now

Here are my favorite frames on the @dzofilm Arcana’s on my @fujifilmx_ca XH2s Most people never see the work behind the scenes. The early morning workouts. The weeks of volume. The days of grinding through when you don’t feel like it. The months of showing up, just to become a little bit stronger than you were before. To most people, it might not mean much. But to the person living it, it means everything. It’s their life. Their choices. Their sacrifices. Their struggles. The moments of fear and doubt that no one else gets to see. Because we all have our own struggles. We all have moments when we question ourselves, wonder if we’re good enough, or ask ourselves why we keep pushing. But maybe what matters most isn’t whether the struggle is hard. It’s who you get to share it with. The friends who show up. The coaches who push you when you need it. The teammates who understand the grind because they’re living it too. The people who support you, challenge you, and remind you why you started in the first place. Because in the end, the work is hard. But having the right people beside you can make every bit of it worth it. Shout out to @cascioliclassic @casciolisc for hosting such a great event for the community.

🇨🇦 2026 Commonwealth Championships Meet Recap Sup guyth, this was my last junior comp and honestly, I had a lot of fun. I definitely shit the bed on bodyweight this meet, I acc have no idea what happened because I swear I ate so much😭 I guess my body just decided to get rid of all of it right before comp day but it is what it is. Going into this comp, I had set pretty high expectations for myself, so personally I feel like the performance could’ve went better. Nonetheless I’m still really proud of how far i’ve come. I’m honoured to even have 190 loaded and attempt it, but it’s okay, i’ll keep striving to do better and get it next time😛 More than anything, I keep thinking about old Michelle, bc if that ho could see me now, I genuinely think she’d be so so proud. At some point we didn’t even know if we’d even be able to walk again, and now that I’ve finished my second international comp, she’d probably think I’m freaking cool actually! Btw I’ve changed my mind, I’m not quitting soooo INTO THE OPEN! Surprise!! ahahaaaaa🫦 (everyone saw this coming except me) 8/9 - 4th S: 155kg/341lbs (+2.5kg)🥉 B: 82.5kg/182lbs D: 177.5kg/391lbs (-5kg)🥈 Total: 415kg (-2.5kg) BW: 59.6kg GLP: 94.25 / 462 DOTS Thank you to @casciolisc for coaching me, @johnnyngu_pl for handling, and everyone that supported + watched me grow. Special shoutout to my dayud for flying in and surprising me :) Last but not least, thank you to my love @seanyen83kg for always cheering me on!💗

FLEX FRIDAY Strong from the ground up. I’m not training just to look strong — I’m training to BE strong, stable and capable for as long as possible. That means training the muscles people love to skip… Strong calves and ankles help with: ✔️ Stability & balance ✔️ Ankle strength and mobility ✔️ Lower-body power ✔️ Squat mechanics ✔️ Athletic performance ✔️ Staying strong and functional as we age 59 and still putting in the work. 💪 Train smart. Train hard. Train for life. #FlexFriday #MastersPowerlifting #StrongWomen #CalfTraining

The Silent Disease Osteoporosis Statistically 1 in 2 women and 1 in 5 men over 50 yrs old will break a bone because of osteoporosis. After a hip fracture up to 30% greater chance of dying within 1 year. Resistance training is the key to healthy bones in particular spinal and hips. Weight training is imperative for functional fitness for life. We need squats for bending down and picking something up like a grandchild; squats for sitting down and getting up without assistance; overhead press for reaching overhead, lifting heavy; step ups for doing stairs; deadlifts for learning to lift with your legs and picking up something heavy; heavy carries for carrying your groceries. Overall health benefits include improved cardiovascular health, improved mental health, boosts metabolism, improved balance, improved hormonal balance for women, strengthens connective tissues and joint stability. Lower body strength is the strongest predictor of health and independence. So just do it 💪 #squatbenchdeadlift #masters4powerlifter #bonedensity @casciolisc @thebarathleticclub @uclips.co @viking_press
