Undivided attention on every rep.

It’s not just about putting you through a workout. It’s about building the mechanics, and the knowledge, that you’ll carry with you for life.

At DBC every coach is trained to see what’s wrong, understand why, and correct it. That’s the difference between training hard and training right.

The best sessions happen when the energy in the room matches the work being put in.

Trainers who are locked in. Clients who are pushing. A facility that makes you WANT to show up.

That’s what you get at DBC Fitness.

The environment matters. But what matters more is the people in it.

The coaches inside DBC aren’t just good at training people. They understand how the body moves, why it breaks down, and exactly how to fix it. That’s what you get when you walk through these doors.

The right environment. The right people.

A huge part of my testimony and my why to choose coaching/PT as my profession today is redirecting my passion for sports into helping others perform at a high level as well as find a greater purpose for life then just sports.

In high school and college, I will be the first to admit I placed my success in sports into my identity. When I found myself injured and unable to continue to do what I loved, I found a big empty void in my heart. Which left me depressed, searching, confused, frustrated, reminiscing in an unhealthy mental state.

It is not talked about enough, retiring, or stopping your sport due to injury is a true grieving process. This process often triggers a profound identity crisis because of an athlete’s entire sense of self was tied to performance, structure, routine, and team camaraderie sports bring to our lives.

While commitment, leadership, self discipline, resilience, work ethic, drive, setting goals are all great qualities of an athlete that are valued to be your best in your sport, be the best teammate, it is so vital that these qualities get redirected to a bigger purpose a higher calling then your sport alone.

As I have been a coach for 9 years now. I constantly have to remind myself of my why! This is to help others, this is bigger than me succeeding, it’s actually not about me at all, it’s all about building others up!

Helping athletes or retired athletes redirect their purpose and find their identity in life, not just their sport is the goal!

This is just the beginning! Get up! Keep going! Reach out! I’m always here as a resource to you, and willing to share my testimony of how God brought me through a challenging time in my life! All For His Glory 💪🏼⚽️

Proud of you!

Amazing summer and 1st ever internship at DBC Fitness San Diego. Learned so much on biomechanics and correcting movement patterns. Huge thank you to this staff!

How you do one thing is how you do everything.

It’s not always the movement that causes the injury. It’s the accumulation of years of reps performed poorly, both in the gym and in everyday life, that finally catch up to you.

That one rep that finally goes? It didn’t happen overnight.
