The fantastic Cassandra Kim shipped 3 new paintings! Cassandra is all about absurdity mixed with tradition as she combines the whimsy of animals dressed in historical garments.

Two of Kim’s wonderful paintings we received have already been snatched up, leaving the Bishop Bee all on his lonesome.

Last time @cassandralkim came to Charleston she visited @thegibbesmuseum’s miniature collection, which inspired these new paintings. ❤️

Each one is only about three inches but they pack in a lot of character. Opening this Friday in The Mini Museum.

Artist Cassandra Kim’s “Empress Spotted Hyena” will be on view for our upcoming group exhibit Feminine Mystique. Here, a lady hyena takes on the role of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria. Having ruled for 40 years, Theresa was a fascinating woman who brought about social reform and universal education in Austria- much of what still exists today! She was also famously the mother of Marie Antoinette. (Acrylic and oil on panel in antique frame, 19”x 22” framed)

Please send any questions or inquiries to hello@nannygoatgallery.com. 🐐

🌊Final week to experience COMMON WATERS in Philadelphia.!

Presented in partnership with our friends at @archenemyarts, this benefit exhibition brings together 60+ original artworks from an incredible lineup of artists exploring our shared relationship with the ocean.

Each piece offers a unique perspective on the beauty, mystery, fragility, and resilience of our blue planet, reminding us that the ocean connects us all, no matter where we live.

This is your last chance to experience COMMON WATERS in person at Arch Enemy Arts and support @PangeaSeed’s ongoing efforts to inspire ocean stewardship through art, education, and activism.

A portion of each artwork sale directly benefits our work to bring ocean conservation into streets, schools, galleries, and communities around the world.

If you’re in Philadelphia, stop by this week before the exhibition closes. If you can’t make it in person, browse the available works online or reach out to @archenemyarts for details, availability, shipping, and purchase options.

🤿Dive in before the tide rolls out.
