![Who said journaling doesn’t count as therapy!? 🔮
Especially during professional pivots, you need something to process it all with & for @cassandratle , that was her journal & a deck of tarot cards during her accidental sabbatical turned adult gap year.
Some days: “this is the best thing I’ve ever done.” Same week, sometimes the same hour: “wow, am I even employable?” 😵💫
She just kept showing up to the page & asking herself what she needed that day.
We often glamorize living abroad or building a business, so this is the other side of that coin.
It’s the real, nonlinear〰️ story of how someone lets go of an identity that no longer fits & builds something more aligned in its place.

![Living an intentional & connected life means saying goodbye 🥹
For almost a decade, Cassandra Le @cassandratle ran a boutique marketing & media agency, scaled it, & built a life abroad around it.
Then she closed it down.
In this episode, we interview longtime online friend Cassandra: creator, marketer, & educator based in Spain, for a bts look at what she calls her “slow ego death”: years of burnout, a pivotal loss in her family, an accidental sabbatical she now calls her adult gap year, & the rebuild that followed.
We often glamorize living abroad or building a business, so this is the other side of that coin.
It’s the real, nonlinear〰️ story of how someone lets go of an identity that no longer fits & builds something more aligned in its place.
