IMFS STUDENTS!

The first month is down and the next ones are coming quickly. From classes to worship nights to taking a trip Maringa, The students have been busy!

One specific opportunity they have had was a camp! The students traveled up to Maringa to take classes about the Character of God. Right after the classes they went to camp in Guaratuba. The Students got to experience Brazilian culture, energy, humor, and a passion for Gods presence.

Continue to pray for these students:

- Pray for their health and safety.
- Pray for hearts of learning and service
- Pray that God continues to grow in them a love for His word.
- Pray for the hearts of the people they share Jesus with!

Oaxaca, Mexico Photos are here!

Ellie Utecht, freshman at the Free Lutheran Bible College, reflects on her time in Mexico:

“When we are living in a way that lines up with the heart of God, we will experience a fullness of joy that only He can offer. The love of God was evident and tangible throughout this week in each person we encountered, which not only encouraged the people in Oaxaca but our team as well. Praise the Lord for his unending love for us and his faithfulness to all his people.”

Turn your phone :)

Three months in Brazil is plenty enough to make it feel like a second home. Majority of my time in Brazil was spent volunteering in the Miriam Children’s home in Campo Mourão, where I helped watch over 20 energetic kids who are extremely in need of knowing God’s love. Videos and pictures of the children are not allowed to be posted for their own safety, but I can promise you that they are the most adorable, hilarious kids I have ever met. God is doing amazing things through that place, please keep them in your prayers and reach out to me if you want to hear more about that ministry!

The video itself speaks to how amazingly gorgeous Brazil is, and I can promise you the people there are even more amazing. God blessed me and grew me in ways that I never thought imaginable. These memories will surely last a lifetime, as well as the friends made along the way. Becoming a “Tia” (auntie) in the orphanage, becoming a homeschool teacher to the Lee’s, and being able to join the Bible School classes at SETELL. From traveling down with an amazing group, to continuing the trip with only two other missionary assistants, to flying solo for the last month. All of it, the good memories and the hard times, I wouldn’t trade this time for anything else in the world. Thank you Lord for giving me this opportunity. And thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

Brazil! First portion of the trip, check :)

Spent my first three weeks in Brazil traveling with a team of 18 amazing people. We were a part of many different work projects and met lots of amazing people. God is doing amazing things in Brazil and I am so blessed to get to witness a piece of it. Glória a Deus!

Next step in the trip is heading to a children’s home in Campo Mourão where I will stay for the duration of my time in Brazil. Please keep the ministry in Brazil in your prayers!
