FROM WATCHING YOUTUBE SHOOTS TO BEING PART OF ONE! 🎬🔥

What an incredible day filming for JD Sports’ YouTube channel! Here’s my behind-the-scenes look at an experience I’ll never forget. 🙌

Massive thank you to JD Sports @jdsports for the opportunity—and an EXTRA SPECIAL thank you to Destiny at @castingbydestiny. Without you bringing me into this, this day simply wouldn’t have happened. You opened that door, and I’m properly grateful. ❤️🤝

Also a massive thank you to @chunkz and @ajshabeel - working with you two enabled me to live my dream once again and i cant tell you two and Destiny how much it means to me.

The people, the atmosphere, the laughs… absolutely unreal from start to finish. Days like this make you want to push harder and see how far you can take it!

Also large up @dizzeerascal and @teddymusicuk for this absolute banger available on all platforms - Foxtrot Oscar Silencer Remix 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hopefully this is the first of many. JD Sports, Destiny—thank you for having me. Ready for the next one! 👀🚀

A new article is up on the Chosen Roots website.

Jamaica gained independence 64 years ago.

Read Destiny’s latest Substack, reflecting on the conflicting feelings of identity, faith and culture.

And a reminder: the deadline for our open writing call is 20 August.

✨ I came. I saw. I conquered. ✨

I dropped my lingo... and now I’m ready to head back to the ends. 😂❤️

And just like that, this is the end of my I Kissed a Girl journey.

I honestly can’t thank everyone behind this project enough. To the incredible production team and every single member of the cast—thank you for your unwavering support, compassion, and for making this such a life-changing experience. I’ll carry these memories with me forever.

I can now officially say I’m a gay icon... exactly as I always knew I was born to be. 🌈✨

I truly hope this show impacts our culture and community as positively as it’s impacted each of us individually. Here’s hoping this isn’t the last season where queer women get to see themselves represented on national television, because representation really does matter.

To every single fan of I Kissed a Girl, thank you for all the love, kindness and empathy you’ve shown me throughout this journey. Your messages, support and encouragement have meant more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

And don’t worry... this definitely won’t be the last time you see me on your TV screens. 😉

Until the next show...

It’s Ren , over and out. 🎤
