A season of stories and community.

These images mark the closing of our recent screening tour of “YARK’AY: The Forgotten Voices of the Amazon,” a documentary directed by @ceallii that amplifies the voices, knowledge, and resilience of Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest.

At AYELE, we see documentary film as more than a screening experience. Through dialogue circles, collective reflection, and community gatherings, we aim to create spaces where people can engage with some of the most pressing environmental and social challenges of our time while exploring pathways toward meaningful action.

Over the past months, we have gathered with communities across Southern Spain to reflect on the interconnected futures of people, territory, and planet. We are deeply grateful to every venue, collaborator, and participant who helped make these encounters possible.

If you missed this season, we will be back in autumn with new screenings and community events.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our documentaries, short films, and educational resources on our website and social media channels.

Because every story has the power to plant a seed.
And every seed has the potential to grow into transformation.

If you are interested in hosting a screening, workshop, or educational event with AYELE, we would love to hear from you.

With gratitude,

The AYELE team.

The screen goes dark.
The lights go out,
but the stories continue to walk among us,
echoing in our hearts.
With this final screening, we close a beautiful season of gatherings in Southern Spain.

Gatherings filled with embraces that lingered long after the credits rolled,
of eyes meeting in the darkness,
reminding us that we still need to come together.
That we need one another.
That we are people,
woven together through community.

Thank you to every person who joined us,
to every space that opened its doors,
and to every hand that made this dream come true.

Thank you for listening to the voices of Indigenous peoples,
the voices of the Earth, “YARK’AY, The Forgotten Voices of the Amazon.”

.

These photographs hold some of those moments.
Small moments that may seem simple,
yet carry the magic of what happens when a community gathers with an open heart.

If you couldn’t join us this time,
don’t worry. We will return in the autumn with new screenings,
new stories, and new opportunities to meet again.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our multimedia archive at www.ayele-projects.com and through our social media channels. (@ayele.projects)

We share stories that cross borders,
celebrate the diversity of life,
and invite us to reimagine possible futures.

Because a documentary may come to an end,
but the seed has been planted,
and the song will continue to be sung.

See you again soon, family.

With love, Ari.

just say yes to life, to your friends, to travel, to all of it. None of this would be possible for me without the selfhealing I did through the healing quality of Breathwork.

Sometimes, in your most challenging moments, God sends you an angel to watch over you and walk beside you. ✨

This stunning, extraordinary lady was that angel for me. she stood by my side, she is my closest friend , and she were there for me when I needed it most. 🤍

And now, after seven years of living in Spain, she’s heading back to the New Jersey… and I’m going to miss her more than words can ever express.

Thank you for this past year, for every moment, every laugh, every lesson, and every act of love. You’ve left a mark on my heart that will stay with me forever.

Wishing you the most beautiful new chapter ahead. You deserve the world, and the world is lucky to have you. 🌍💫

Te quiero Miss Childers ❤️
