We've worked with @arch_melbourne across brand integrity, art direction, strategy and marketing. The website was always going to be next. Formal sitting rooms can have a bad reputation. They are often the beautiful room no one actually uses. At Were Street, that was never the brief. We wanted a space that felt private, grounded and impossible not to settle into. The kind of room that gives you a reason to close the door, sit down and stay awhile. It started with the 100% wool rug from @vello.studio , then the Harbro burgundy sofa and the softest sheers from @evienstudio From there, it was about depth. Warm timber. Rich colour. Texture. Light. A few pieces with enough presence to hold the room without filling every corner. The goal was not to make it formal. It was to make it feel good.
