POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still too busy to remember that social media is a thing I should be doing.😅 The recently trapped kittens (this group are named after trees!) are done being hissy and have realized that human laps are pretty nice.

They have to grow up a bit more and have their neuters and spays, but then they'll be adoptable!

I’m a big witch with six familiars and I am coveting the xxl broom at @wytchwood . The syrup is spectacular too.

Have you been into @shopsat1derby yet? They don’t have a storefront to catch your eye- just a couple doors for those who know! There are so many wonderful creative businesses inside.

Also, if you want to lighten my load and take a bonded pair of scruffy senior cats off my hands, ask about Kay and Serafino which I am fostering through @pals_animal_life_savers and @salem.cat.aid @catdistributioncenter

RIDDLE ME THIS: How do I still have two foster kittens?! They have been to multiple events with me, even received a bunch of applications.. only for everyone to have changed their mind or choose one of their siblings.😭

Christopher: 1st pic! Most independent, but will randomly leap into your lap to say hello. He has the LOUDEST purr. 3 months old and he purrs like a gigantic adult.

Liam: 2nd pic. Ugh my heart. Don't tell the others, but I love him a little extra. He's brave, ridiculous, independent but also clingy?! He's perfect.

Both boys are neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. In a perfect world they'd be adopted together, BUT as long as they go to a home with another friendly cat, I'll be happy (seriously, they will insist on being your cat's play and snuggle buddy if they don't have each other).

Please apply for my sweet perfect babies at http://PALScats.org ❤️

Things have been chaos - spending most of my days at the @catdistributioncenter and prepping for @hauntedhappeningsmarket . But on Sunday I trapped these three young kittens in Peabody. The bad news is, the commercial property owner won't let me go back for the last two or mama. I'll figure it out, I'm DETERMINED.

Actually, mama WAS trapped but I had to make the decision to release her, because after being outdoors for 8 hours I had no luck with the remaining two kittens. And yes, the three trapped are okay! They're old enough to be enjoying wet food.❤️

Here’s a Salem tourist map that includes areas that are often left off other maps — like Salem Cat Museum’s location at 107 Boston Street, the Willows, and Forest River Park 😻🎉😻🎉 People seem to like the tourism maps distributed by various organizations that focus on tiny areas of Salem — but it’s important to note those resources don’t include everything there is to see! In this day and age, it’s good to pull information from multiple places 👀😻 This map was created by Salem Cat Museum as a public service and also a way to get the museum’s location on a map 😻 It’s a little hard to read digitally, it will be printed on free postcards at Salem Cat Museum soon! We also included @catdistributioncenter even though it’s over the line in Peabody and technically not a museum or historic site— bc like cats, we do what we want 😻🎉 See mew soon!

Saturday morning off to a great start at @meandersalem inside @couchdogbrewing .

Met with Cass over coffee and talked about CATS! Cass is @salem.cat.aid and is fundraising for the new @catdistributioncenter with @pals_animal_life_savers

Cass also generously offered Salem Main Streets a table at the upcoming @ghost.ship.market on Sept. 12th.

Had to scurry off to the office to do some Dog mayor of Salem business so I couldn’t stay for @artblockcreative but they were doing their thing and today’s art theme is WHALES!

What are you up to this weekend in downtown Salem? 3 coffees and a bananagrams tiles spelling cat distribution center related words

Making My Way Through WIPs: Episode 84!!!

I’m back after vacation, and I am SO ready for fall to get here. It’s great to have this sweater finished (even if I do need to fix the one cuff, dang it!) and I will add it to the pile of other fo’s I need to block before the weather gets chilly.

Also, check out all the great work @salem.cat.aid and @catdistributioncenter are doing. It’s also just so great to have adoptable cats and kittens pop up in your feed.
