what a year.

these four years have forever changed me as a friend, classmate, sister, daughter, and most importantly, as a person. this school saw not only some of my toughest and embarrassing moments, but also my most proud and joyful ones too.

this place holds so many memories, some big and some small. from passing time hallway conversations, endless icebreaker questions in ceramics, and smiles while passing eachother in the halls to facing a fear and speaking to the school board, participating in a life changing internship, and being apart of a headway meeting at the sheriffs department.

to the people who helped me, loved me, and supported me in any of my time here. thank you. truly i couldn’t have done it without you. my parents, for supporting me even when it felt a bit concerning. my friends, for making me laugh on days i couldn’t even imagine it. my underclassmen, for teaching me how to be a genuine, strong, loving person. and lastly, my teachers for showing up everyday ready to help us become better versions of ourselves.

it doesn’t feel right knowing that i’ll never walk those halls, or be late to a class in that building again. I will never meet this exact version of myself again, these friends, these places, these people. i’m leaving this place with so much more then what i came in with and for that i am so grateful.

time to move on to bigger things. Thank you Grant High School, you made me, me.
