Lots o pots!!! Some tables full of goodies from the unloading of Bob yesterday. What a fine kiln and a wonderful group of potters! We all had some great results and a fantastic time together! Kiln fire kiln food. As though one giant blazing fire weren’t enough I had to make a little second fire to roast up some food. I wasn’t sure if anyone ( other than yours truly) had ever had breadfruit or as Tony likes to tease me... dragon egg, or currently jungle bread. 😆 Good news is everyone enjoyed! Loading day yesterday with Bob the kiln. So grateful to be back for Bob’s second dance! Lots of pots went into this load and the humans were all thrilled to be able to enjoy both each other’s company and sunshine! At Ironworks, we love to see the look of our radiators in our clients homes. In Leslieville, a client ordered a number of refurbished rads all dating back to the early 1900's, and had us finish them in this amazing metallic steel grey. Our client was seeking a distinct industrial look in her design, and in order to achieve it, these beautiful refurbished cast iron radiators became the perfect complement for the textured brick walls with exposed copper piping seen in this photo.
